Hard to get ahold of them and short hours.Yet the county supports them financially?Need appointments to drop a stray off.Not very easy to work with as I am finding.Maybe a review by the county is needed.

I adopted my second cat, Briar, back in the Summer. Cynthia was very helpful throughout the process, making sure that my house would be a long-term home for my new buddy. They do appear to be understaffed, but the workers/volunteers are clearly doing all that they are able to find their great animals places to call home.

I called multiple times for multiple days, with no answer or return call. I had questions about cats that had been dumped on my property and I couldn't keep them. I physically came to the property and no one answered the door. It's locked and curtains covered all windows. The sign just says to call. How am I supposed to call if NO ONE ANSWERS? These people do not care about animals.

I’m trying to obtain the certificate for spaying/neutering asap. I stopped at the location and the bin outside the office is empty. I’ve called repeatedly with no answer. :((( Why is the place closed and no one answers the phone during open hours.

i’ve been unable to get in touch with anyone that works there. i’ve called a couple times, left voicemails, and no one has responded back. it’s frustrating because i’m actively looking to adopt and I can’t even see the pets or get a hold of anyone because the location is by appointment only, of which can only be scheduled over the phone. I don’t see how they expect for any pets to be adopted when they’re ghosting prospective owners..

I got yelled at as I was leaving the parking lot. I understand that there is process but she a young woman in her 30’s and scrubs showed no interest in providing information as to where to take the lost dog and also was yelling at an older couple as I walked up. People who work at these facilities need both people and animal skills to achieve the goal of finding good homes and this employee clearly had no people skills.

I went there to adopt a dog because the posted they were over run and would have to put a lot of the animals down. This was a couple of months ago btw. Well I fell in love with a dog there. The most important thing I asked the girl before I adopted him if he was child friendly. She said yes. He was not at all. I was patient with the him being anxious and what not but he was extremely aggressive to my 6 yr old. I had to take him back. Broke my heart but I feel like they set these animals up for failure if they don’t do the proper work to vet them. Same girl gave us an enormous attitude when we brought him back even though we donated food and gave him his toys because despite all of that my daughter still loved him but he was just too aggressive. We have another dog now we ended up adopting elsewhere that is actually good with kids and love him to pieces. I would recommend another place because it’s important value safety for everyone involved when it comes to their new forever homes. And people are right. They do not answer emails or the phone. I tried to find out about other dogs before I went and it was impossible to get people on the phone. I think while I was there, there was one person who seemed to love the animals there and very one else seem pretty annoyed. It’s sad because the animals end up suffering because othe negative expierences a lot of people have.

I think it's sickening you cover up all the windows, don't answer the phone, and won't acknowledge anyone when they knock on the door when your most likely right on the other side of it and can clearly hear someone is there for a reason. So either you house animals there with no one looking after them or your just plain sneaky and are hiding something. I think probably a little of both would be my guess. Whatever the case may be your whole operation seems like your up to no good. You need to be investigated.

Heartbreaking to write this...They currently have an elderly dog that I am interested in meeting. So few people want to adopt older animals, so I expected a positive experience. What I got was...NO EXPERIENCE AT ALL.Did not respond to multiple emails/contact through the website/multiple phone calls.Literally no response at all.And they don't let you come by in person without an appointment. How do you get an appointment when no one will return your calls/emails???Heartbreaking. For potential adopters and for the precious animals in their care.

I appreciate these guys coming out late and listen we understand the whole spill don't feed a stray dog don't do this and don't do that. We're not stupid we can see when a dog is being mistreated, abused and completely being neglected. This is an organization that is paid by taxpayers because animal life is important too. You try and posion the kind heart of Individuals who see an animal in need. He was a baby with a huge knot on his head, tongue bleeding and for 4 hrs nobody came looking for this puppy. We also know that a true dog owner would not even let an hour ago by to find the dog missing. Stop countering a concerned person when seeing an animal like that with all the reason you shouldn't do something. It's annoying.

Cobb Humane Society may be, as prior reviews note, difficult to reach out to but they sure do love and protect their animals. It is evident that their small team of animal lovers sacrifice as much time as they can finding forever homes for their pooches and kitties.

I found this amazing organization via a friend’s Instagram. From the initial communication to the actual day of adoption, the process was thoroughly explained and the staff was wonderful! It truly is inspiring how the staff cares for these animals. It is a very detailed adoption process, but I say that as a compliment! They truly want the best for these animals and want to make sure potential pet owners are qualified and caring. Please consider adopting from this great organization!

With so many beautiful cats in their center, the vetting process for potential owners is onerous and feels very unfriendly & unwelcoming. You must pass the interview before you're approved to visit and meet the cats. As an experienced cat owner for 40+ years, I won't use this center to find my next cat.
