We had the best experience with them! The entire crew was polite, professional and very respectful. Ours was a local move, mainly furniture and boxes. They were on time, handled everything with care, made sure no walls or stairs were scratched and disassembled and assembled furniture. We would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat. We chose this company based at least in part on positive reviews... but we had a terrible experience.
To make a long story very short, they were supposed to actually pack our stuff, and they didn't. They just threw it in boxes, willy nilly, without actually packing anything at all (except for the kitchen. The gentleman who packed the kitchen did actually individually wrap cups, plates etc). The result of Hudson's just throwing everything in boxes? Broken glass, broken toiletries (whose contents got all over everything in the box), stains on our furniture (they put a ladder on top of our cream colored couch, which they didn't wrap properly. The ladder left stains, which we were told we would have to get out ourselves. Likewise the mattresses weren't wrapped, so they got gross stuff all over them from the truck.
Below are photos of just two of the many, many boxes showing how everything was just thrown in without wrapping. Note: the shiny purple in the picture is a glass vase, which they didn't wrap but just threw in a box with heavy books. Likewise the black frame visible in that picture is a framed glass piece of art - again, no wrapping and just thrown in with heavy books.
This is seriously what every box from our home looks like, with the kitchen being the exception.
We paid approx $4500 for Hudson's to move us. I don't know why they did this. Did they have new guys on the team? Just in a big hurry? Better training needed? We don't know. All we know is that a lot of our things were damaged or destroyed because Hudson's "packed" us like this:

I recommend Hudson's Pack N Move. Two of their guys packed it up, and four moved me the next day. All were professional, respectful and efficient. The packers labeled my boxes and movers wrapped plastic around vulnerable furniture. I did not find any damages. The fee was competitive and fair. They had all of the supplies we needed. I had ~20 steps coming down from a condo, and it was warm. They made a hard day go much easier for me. They earned my respect, my recommendation and a tip.

Smooth moving experience! Second time using this company and they’ve been great. This time around I had multiple stops I added the day before and they were accommodating. They also didn’t complain or up charge for two sets of challenging stairs leading up to the front door. The movers were considerate of time and they helped pack my kitchen too. I also liked the pricing, it is an hourly rate based on how many movers you request. It’s straightforward.To the reviewer who complained they blocked the sidewalk and took offense when they joked with you to limbo under their ramp: I am sorry you were having a bad day and could not just go around the truck or cross the street to the other sidewalk. As you know parking and space is limited in the Grant Park neighborhood. Also, your review is misleading, on this day you did not have a disabled person with you or they would have moved their ramp, you were with your dog. I hope you have a better day today.

I won't share all the details, but I do know these guys busted their butts the day we moved. It was a tough move, and they made it happen. I would use them again... if they let me. My wife had about 300 totes... but they did a good job, and were very reasonably priced. I used 2 trucks, but I needed 3. I appreciate their hard work, and would recommend them to anyone.

Blocked off the sidewalk and then proceeded to be rude about it, telling me I should ‘limbo.’ I regularly walk that space with a disabled person. There’s a community center across the street and a no parking sign next to their truck. What goes around comes around…

I saw Hudson's Pack N Move in the neighborhood one day. I watched the movers and thought if I ever need a mover...Well, the time came and I did indeed hire Hudson's yesterday. I had a great experience with the team of Chris, Tom, and Shawn and their care and professionalism with my move. I highly recommend them! Kudos to Kelly in the office, too, who gave me a lot of confidence.
