I visited the shop today due to my car making a loud noise, suspecting an issue with the catalytic converter. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of both the front desk staff and the mechanics. They promptly inspected my car and discovered a loose part, which they fixed right away at no additional cost. I highly appreciate their excellent service and would definitely recommend them for their reliability.

I had to shop around due to my truck giving me a trans fault code on my dashboard. The other shops I went into told me I had to pay for a transmission replacement, and to save cost, they could get a "used" transmission for me. They quoted $5k for the job.I thought of getting another opinion and found High Tech Transmission reviews with loyal customers of over 10 years. Just from the initial call inquiry, I already liked Ben's welcoming attitude. Gave him the symptoms and was quoted $129 for the diagnostic, which is waived if you do get the car fixed with them. I ended up having the truck fixed and got it back in a week. They also called me midweek to give updates on what's going on and what parts needed to be replaced. The warranty is 18/18 and sounded better than the other shops, which offered 12/12. I saved $$$$ by bringing my truck (2007 Ford F150) here.Kudos to the team, feels like they're family oriented, and made me feel well taken care of.The only room for improvement is that their lobby heavily smelled like cigarette. But nonetheless, $$$$ savings, courtesy, and empathy won me over. Can't complain! Thanks to them, I got my vehicle back to last me, hopefully another 30 years.

They did a great job on my husband's truck. They are professional, diagnostic was quick, and the work was finished within the week. It seems to be a company with integrity.

Ben is personable, funny, and shoots you straight on what your options are and how much they cost. They're not interested in squeezing extra money out of you for things you don't need.

I had an outstanding experience with High Tech Transmission! Their team is top-notch, and they expertly fixed my power steering pump and the U-joints on my axle. For a few weeks, I was troubled by a persistent squeal. Upon returning, they went above and beyond – instead of charging me for a diagnostic fee, they suggested I get a new serpentine belt and idle pulley. I followed their advice, swapped it at the local auto zone, and voilà – the squeal vanished! Truly grateful for their expertise and honesty. Five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Muffler specialist Ben Frith did a great job fixing my Honda Fit's hanging muffler assembly. He fixed it quickly and for a fair and reasonable price. I recommend High Tech Transmission & Muffler!Service: Exhaust

Actually, I didn't want to post a written review at first b/c I was really thinking about the situation and what I should actually include about my experience.#1 The afternoon before I brought my vehicle in, I called the shop.I was told to be there first thing in the morning (for a full diagnostics and was quoted $139) to AVOID a wait or leaving my vehicle there for the entire day.#2 I had a rental pickup scheduled for noon. I sent someone (a man instead of a woman) to bring the car at 8AM b/c I wasn't well.#3 Suddenly, there was a wait and six cars ahead. Of course he went for a walk to get food and charge his phone. I told him the entire point of waking up at 6 AM to get there first thing was to avoid a wait. He was told they'd call after checking the vehicle .#4 By 11:45, I had heard nothing. Not from the person that brought the vehicle in or from the shop. I CALLED the shop and when I mentioned that we had not heard anything about the vehicle (at approximately noon), I was told the tech would be back at 1:30 to ride because nobody saw anything wrong..... Which is strange to say immediately after saying you hadn't had time to look yet. I specifically questioned what happened to the early time frame.Regardless, he waited another hour and 15 minutes and came back to ride with the tech#5 who also said he heard nothing and didn't have time to drive properly to find out what made the vehicle make the noise we spoke about. (the ride was about 5 minutes and not on at medium or high speed)#6 I was on the phone while the drive took place and asked several questions. The answers changed several times. For instance, the tech SAID they hadn't looked at the car yet BUT COULD CHECK FOR FREE. That MAYBE it was the transmission mount. Then after I asked how much something like that cost, we were told no idea about the estimate but it would cost $129 to LOOK. I asked how it could be free and $129 in the same sentence.... Afterwards, the man that brought the car in waited for another 25 minutes before leaving. HOW could you say you put 2 and a half hours into a car that A: I was told that after glancing at it, it needed no workB: I was told when I called at NOON that nobody had any time so far to look at the car before the ride with the tech after 1:30pm, andC: The man I sent left after waiting quite some time to talk to the manager again .That clearly cannot all be true.I brought it into my usual shop the same afternoon. The tech said 'Holy ####! Look at that!' As soon as he opened the hood. He showed me easily where the bolt holding the transmission has come almost completely out of place and was banging into the engine. He also showed me in a few minutes that all mounts were shot.... Not just the transmission. He was also able to give me a quick quote and pointed out what else I needed to do with the car even though he didn't have to.The sad fact is when a man came in instead of a woman, the plan changed and his entire day was wasted by waiting on a vehicle that was brought in first thing that morning to avoid WAITING all day. What's worse is I wasn't rude to you in this review or on the phone at any time, yet you posted a threatening message publicly without calling or asking what the problem was or why I felt poorly about the experience. You also said you worked on the car when you did not. That also speaks volumes. To boot, I was also sick with RSV, and chose to send someone in my place to protect your staff from the virus out of sheer respect. I am sorry you're upset with me about my poor experience.

They put in a new transmission for me about 10 years ago. They took care of my brother's car recently. Hi-Tech has a great reputation which is why I use them in the first place.
