I came here about a month ago, because it’s not that far from my work. They have pretty good stuff! Prices seem a little higher than my normal Goodwill, but this location does have more brands than my normal Goodwill, which is nice. Parking is free, clean store, very organized. The reason why I didn’t give 5 stars, is because no one greeted me when I entered the store and the employees seemed like they were in a bad mood or something. They weren’t friendly. Besides that, everything else was good. I’ll still shop here because they have a nice collection of good and clean items, but the employees should b able to work on their people skills.

Worked at this location for over 60 days verry bad experience overworked underpaid and no type of direction with management also they are verry lazy and I would not recommend shopping there they sell all of the good fruniture and items to some man name g who works for some movie set they let him pick things from the back they also don’t compensate the employees when doing task like helping out after store hours forced to work over then blamed for over time which was not given to us it’s a lot of fishy stuff going on in the store but the employees are to scared to speak up which is horrible they are treated with little to no respect work wise I Definitely would never work for a goodwill again ever they also never give employees fair positions this store is verry weird and the clothes they put out are not that good anymore they just let everything sit in the back and pretty much leave it there

This particular Goodwill on Davidson Road in East Cobb has way too many re-sellers filling up their carts with all the worthwhile things. Very frustrating. I went in to get forks for mixing up dog food and there were NO FORKS. I'm not kidding. Only two big bundles of table knives. Sheesh. And don't pay cash, use a card. I say that because recently a cashier at this Goodwill gave me change for a $10 when I gave her a $20. Easy mistake to make if the cashier is tired or not paying attention. (I've been a cashier.) Happy shopping.

If your stuff has a little bit cosmetic damage they don’t want it. Doesn’t sound like goodwill to me.

Book department is rocking! Current, popular books in great condition! Stuff you want to read. Even has pre-teen/teen section. I have been going weekly since February!

Every once in a while, I drop by this location to specifically check out children's books. In reference to the quality of books alone, this location needs help. Whoever works in production going through the books needs their eyes checked out. Not only is the children's book area small, but the majority of the books put out are CLEARLY damaged! Whether it's water damage, mold, tears, rips, the binding falling off books, coloring books destroyed etc etc.
I would have hoped this location would improve.
Owner response: NO. I WILL NOT CONTACT YOU. GOODWILL READS THESE REVIEWS SO YOU'RE AWARE OF THE ISSUES.

I purchased an item on a Thursday and was told I had 3 days to pick it up. I return on Saturday and was told it was gone. I was refunded my money but that was just bad business. I am a devout goodwill shopper and never had this happen. Going forward i will and as a precaution to other shoppers. Get your item the day you pay for it!! Their system is broken. This incident occurred at the Davidson Rd location in Marietta.

As far as Goodwills go this one is not bad at all. Service is hit or miss, yet overall not too bad. I check out the deals once a week or so to see if there are any rare finds. I find the best time to go is about an hour after they open or late afternoon. It seems to be when they come out a little more frequently with new items. I give it 4 stars mainly because of the backups at the cashier lines. From my experience that happens at most Goodwill at least it does for the ones I go to.

How are they gonna raise the prices AND say their fitting rooms are closed? Hire more people. Awful location. Also, waited 30 minutes for them to bring my table out. Would’ve carried it out myself if I’d known this location is a silly excuse of a store. Incompetent workers which reflects a clearly incompetent management. I hope higher ups at Goodwill fix this mess. And I will NOT be calling the number you keep replying to other customers’ reviews with. You know the issues you need to address, I’m not wasting my breath on more poor management who don’t care. They are running workers into the ground and destroying their customer base. Stay away from this location, and most Goodwills for that matter. It’s the same story every time.

The manager of this goodwill is very very rude.. I spent 30 mins there and found one item to purchase.. They are bunch of disposable plates of Costco.. when I tried to bill it the manager said,” this is not the correct price of it..” I said what is the correct price ? He said ,” I don’t have time to check the correct price. You can go now.”There was no one in the queue and he was completely free but still he said very badly and rudely.. pls take immediate action against this manager..
