I called the owner to talk about a 2012 Nissan Quest and was pleased with the price of $5950 and it was the color that I was looking for. I basically asked could I purchase for $5500 cash and I pay my own taxes that I put in at the GA Dept of Revenue calculator and would have been 638.00, tag 20.00 and title 18.00. The owner gave me a round figure of 7000.00 out the door and i told him ok and we hung up. Two days later i drove to Marietta willing to purchase the van and I called him twice, no answer then five minutes later I receive a text telling me basically that I couldn't afford this van and if I didn't have 7000.00 cash, no card or check , that it was no need for me to even see the van and that it was not in my budget which I took as stereotypical and racist. I had 7000.00 plus dollars cash ready to do business and because I was a black man that he did NOT know he assumed that I would waste his time which to me is a poor business practice. I informed him that I am a business owner and was prepared to do business and he treated me as if I was trash. African Americans beware he really does not want to do business with us.
