Unprofessional and most rude staff I have ever encountered at a bank. Every other bank including small credit unions I have been to have been able to cash a check via drive thru this one is incapable as well as requiring two forms of ID. Both of which could be more accommodating to guest. I closed my account a few years ago from the lack of courtesy from staff up front. Although, I had to return to cash a check to my surprise nothing has changed since covid. Very disappointing and will continue to lose clients like myself this way.

Sure, I've got a good interest rate on my loan, BUT customer service is terrible. They are very rude and not helpful. If you can deal with buttheads, then bank here. If not, find somewhere else.

Great credit union. Tellers and bank staff are friendly and provide good customer service.

I'm in the lobby getting a replacement debit card. I was just told there is a $5.00 replacement fee....?This is another reason I don't use this account here as much. It's always something with this Credit Union. I use my other one more and have never been charged. AWFUL!!!!And I'm been waiting too long. SMH!!?

Vinings Bank was fantastic, bought by GOCU and it's been chaos from day one. Pulling all money out today, which is a real hassle, but we don't trust this bank. Zero customer service, hard to get a live person, the bank cannot access previous account info, it's a literal circus over there. Completely unacceptable in a banking industry. I see we are not alone in our struggles.

Vinings Bank was purchased by Georgia's Own Credit Union. Today, I needed to speak to customer service regarding the inability to access by business account. I was on hold for over 45 minutes before I spoke to anyone. I was informed that I needed to speak to tech support. I was placed on hold again. After another 15 minutes, I disconnected. This is not the service I expect from my financial institute. I will be looking for a new Credit Union or Bank. I am very unhappy with Georgia's Own Credit Union

If you're not going to be here, then don't put these hours on your door. We drove 45 minutes to get to a closed bank.

Been with them over 20 years, 0 moments of aggravation. Remarkable. Mobile App works like a charm. However, this location is no longer manned on Saturdays.Have had my GO vi card here, for almost as long. And Fraud Detection has been effective. Fair APR, easy payments via App, Transfer function.I haven't had to call for human assistance in years. Because my direct deposits, Transfer, and e-check Bill Pay functions work well.

Have been with TelCo Credit Union (now known as Georgia's Own), since I started working for the telephone company 03/04/71, and I have never had a bad day, bad experience,or anything of the kind with them - ever. In Kennesaw, GA, where I now bank, they are the best staff. Always pleasant, always helpful, and professional. I love working with this establishment.

Really unfortunate - this used to be a great alternative to the large bank mentality. Unfortunately GA’s Own recently changed their online banking. The upgrade is horrible. The bank takes down online banking without proper notice to customers leaving customers without banking privileges for day and weeks. I also was forced to take out insurance on a loan (thought it was optional) to find it was indeed optional despite the GA’s Own employee telling me it was mandatory and requiring extra payments on the loan needlessly. I plan to log a complaint with the BBB over the employee that required me to sign up for insurance, hoping I can get the money that was basically stolen from me back. I should not be responsible financially for an employee that lied and stole from GA’s Own/its customers. When I spoke to another employee, I found out the individual that lied to me was no longer w the credit union. I was told I was lied to and that I would not get my money back. I’m still logging a complaint w the BBB because it’s just wrong to cheat people out of their money!

I am agreeing with so many others here. I was a customer since 98. Several different accounts, cars, motorcycle, boat, and credit cards. On the latter, when COVID first broke snail mail was so backed up. I sent in a check for $54 to pay off my balance as I had always done. When they called to state they hadn't received payment, we checked the remit to address. This had changed. I was taken aback that they wouldn't have forwarding capabilities on the old address. I stated that when the check was returned to me I would resubmit. (Note: company I was working for let go lots of folks). Then check finally came back. Now late. I called them and let them know I was mailing that day. To my surprise, they reported me being late. I called to discuss. They wouldn't budge. 'Is there anything else I can help you with'? Uh yes, let's go ahead and close all my accounts. I cannot wait for the 7 years as this took my credit from near 800 to less than 700. Higher rates in stuff and in some instances turned down. All for a late $54. Called last year and they put me on hold for 20 minutes. I will try again soon.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. The employees in the bank are okay but the branch as a whole is absolutely garbage. Making payments or talking to member services is awful to connect with. I currently bank with other credit unions and they are much easier to navigate and to actually talk to someone on the phone with. I've had more issues the last 5 years with Georgia's own than I've had with 2 other credit unions in the last year. I do not recommend doing services or banking with Georgia's own. Beware

If you are wanting a loan, DO NOT go here. You CANNOT setup external transfers into your account to make a payment. This means you would have to go to the branch every month, with either a check or cash in hand to pay. Their portal does not allow setting up of external ACH's. The call center customer service said they are unable to make payments and/or setup any external transfers. Its remarkable that they do everything in their power to refuse people that are trying to make payments.

A.Total.Nightmare.Beware!Been banking with Ga's Own CU since 1998. This was back when it was Telco's CU. It is time to close the books with these guys. They have ruined the automatic bill pay interface with their recent upgrade (11/2022). Their "new" system has dropped the auto bill payment causing no payments to go through. They could care less. 25 Year Loyal customer to Georgia's Own CU is saying good-luck! Zero Star Review!
