I was contacted by State Farm asking me if I wanted a quote. I called the office closest to me which is Gary Motley's office today thinking they called me. They informed me that it was another office that had called me and that they would not perform my quote for me.This is despite me making it clear that I wanted to use their location due to their proximity to me. That they then said it would appear that they were "stealing" business from the other agent.So I will not be recommending this office or State Farm at all. IF they infight and are scared of each other - territorial even - to the point that they decline the business of a new client...tells me a lot about how much service and support I will get when I actually NEED help.Lost a customer for life today Gary and - by extension - you too State Farm.

I was new in town and received an outstanding support since my first meeting with Ana 'Lily' Alvarez. She invested a long time explaining all the details of insurance in US and she was also kind with each and every doubt I raise, so, I'm more than happy to recommend and mention her support to everyone I talk.

Edit: Spoke with CINDY after not receiving the policy in a week and she hangs up the phone on me! It’s your screw up. You have some emotional and unprofessional women working for you. And Cindy tells me before she rudely hung up that LILIANA never put the policy change into effect on the requested date. Your staff is awful and lazy and they’re tarnishing your business name. This is a simple request that should’ve been handled on the spot. Absolutely terrible. They were automatically assigned to me when I started and I’m glad to be switching.Agency does not return calls or answer in a timely manner. When you finally get them on the phone to make a very simple policy adjustment, they won’t even send your documents over as requested. Unprofessional and unresponsive. Going to switch to another location.

We've been with the Motley agency since 1985 when we moved to Georgia! It's been a good experience except for the fact that a few years ago, we received a letter from the corporate office threatening to terminate the auto insurance for one of our daughters because they thought she had one too many accidents. Considering that we had been with State Farm itself since the 1970s, we were not happy about that.

Gary Motley and State Farm had no trouble taking my money and cashing my checks for 15 years, but after they had to pay out small claims because my adolescent, new to driving son got into an accident, I get a insurance termination letter in the mail for the vehicle. I knew insurance companies were predators but I thought Motley was at least somewhat ethical based on my long relationship with his office. I’ll be warning everyone about him and about State Farm, what an absolute vampire of a company. Like a good neighbor, State Farm turns their back on you at the first sign of trouble after taking over $40k from you.

This summer marks my 30th year with the Motley agency! Gary first and now Doug. I have always received the highest level of attention from everyone on the staff and would like to mention Debbie. She has always gone the extra mile to make sure I was happy and received the best rates possible. I probably could shop the 5 current policies I currently hold but you get what you pay for in life. Thanks to everyone for the commitment to customer service.
