This bank is the most indifferent, uncaring financial institution that I have ever dealt with. They had me make 2 extremely inconvenienttrips back to this Marietta branch to handle a routine check cashing transaction. I would NEVER bring any of my business here again!The ladies there were callous and provided poor customer service!Businesses, stay away!!

I've banked with four predecessor banks for SouthState and the service has become INTOLLERABLE. I own a large consulting firm in the Atlanta area and it is impossible to get anyone on the phone or get a request. I am in the process of moving my business. This has been an AWFUL experience with SouthState.

Ever since my bank got bought by this bank it has been nothing but incompetence. I have posted my many issues before with no resolution. Here is my latest complaint. Their app doesn't work. After you login and put your password in the screen turns white and stops. You can't go farther than that. It used to work but hasn't for the last three weeks. This is so annoying and there is no reason for this not to be repaired. You have to login to their website which is an inconvenience if you just need to check your balance. This takes more time than an app. Please fix this issue.

My expectation from any bank is that I be able to check my account online. I have been locked out of my account for over a week. I can't reset it online because their archaic systems don't respond to gmail accounts! They don't have a call center that can assist you when it is convenient for their customers and even when you do get a hold of their employees they don't send you the information you need! Their online platform is atrocious.

This branch is s seriously impressive, with its clock tower building design and lavish interior appointments! The staff is so friendly, and aren't the slightest bit hesitant to offer you a drink while you wait!

I was advised to open my business account at a smaller bank that I may establish a better relationship. I had to make sense of it when I presented a Certified check to this bank in order to open an account, they had to make a call to verify it. And since they could not get through at that specific moment, it couldn't be verified. Had to re-deposit the Certified funds to my personal acct in order to transact. FL used my personal acct to penalize me by holding the use of a debit card for 90 days. This was revealed only after the account was opened. What a way to conduct business; what a trap. This is a disservice.
