Love Town & Country, they have been taking all my pets for close to 10 years now! My annual appointment with my two dogs went great. I appreciate that they were able to accommodate them both at the same time. Helps my schedule and the dogs keep each other calm! The only con I can ever think of is that sometimes I am left waiting a bit long in the waiting room or in the visit room. With that being said, I assume it's because they're busy, which is a net positive - I want them to continue to succeed! Thank you to TCV for always treating my pets (and me!) with kindness and care - there's no one else I'd trust with them.

I came here 6/7/22 with biscuit the cat and they ran stray kitten tests on him (checking for parasites, ringworm, FIV, etc) and they said that he was completely clear. Even gave us some preventative medicines. Well, turns out that he was not clear, and he had ringworm on the day he was seen- a vet never bothered to check him with a UV light. The kitten later went on to infect 4 other cats and a dog (which I have pictures of), as well as 10 humans who were in his vicinity (I have medical records to verify this too). Everybody got ringworm. The negligence of this place is actually astounding. They would not own up to their mistakes and give us a free or even discounted follow-up. Then, they stalled on sending the medications to the pharmacy. When we called, they ended up sending it to the wrong pharmacy. Utter incompetence at multiple levels.. I don't blame the receptionists or even vet techs, but rather the vet himself who runs this practice. Seems like he doesn't listen to the owners of pets and it's pretty sloppy with his veterinary knowledge. Never been so outraged.

I have to brag on these wonderful, wonderful people. I have a 16 yr old pup. He wasn’t doing great. Extremely sick (I’ll spare you the details) and he wouldn’t eat or even drink water all day Tuesday. I made an appointment on Wednesday. My regular vet put my other dog down but they didn’t seem to care about her at all so I didn’t want to take him there. I didn’t even bring his collar and leash to our appointment because I didn’t want to come home with an empty collar and leash. The staff and doctor comforted me and my dog. They seemed to genuinely care about his well-being and wanted to do what was best. After some tests the doctor came back and explained my dog’s organs were perfectly fine and because of things like red blood cell count and fever she thought it was an infection. She treated him with an antibiotic, IV fluids and anti-nausea medication. She told me he’d be ready to eat again the next evening and to just continue to give him the antibiotic with his food. I couldn’t believe it when right on cue, the very next night he was back to his old self. I have absolutely found a vet I can trust with my dog and I’ll never take him anywhere else. Best of all they didn’t gouge me on the price. All that for a little bit under $500. Totally worth it when you think your dog is dying and they turn him around in a day. I’m certain my regular vet would’ve just put him down.

I live in Missouri and had to visit the Vet during my road trip because my dog had something wrong with one of his eyes. Dr. Nia Perkins and assistants were extremely nice to my crazy dog and gave me updates if there were any additional costs based on what they found. They always asked for permission first. Dr. Nia Perkins went above & beyond and recommended anxiety medications that my dog should take. She recommended that I speak with my vet at home prior to prescribing it herself, but wanted me to be aware of his separation anxiety and potential heart issues due to being consistently stressed. Very nice & gentle staff. 100% recommend taking your pets here!

Please NEVER EVER board your animal here. The back is like a prison, they do not have adequate boarding for their dogs. They stay in tiny crates and runs and have no where to exercise. How do I know this? Because I used to volunteer in the back and left because I could no longer stand the conditions the animals were kept in. Please see for yourself where exactly your dogs or any pets will be kept and boarded, wherever you choose!!!!!

Since *********** has passed away, the practice is going down the toilet. Was once a good place to take your animals, now I just wouldn't trust it. Read other current reviews, and you'll see.

Dr. M. Good passed away.... was a fantastic Vet and friend (Bless his Heart), now his son is running the practice.... what a joke. Take this with a grain of salt, but a Veterinarian was not his first choice as a career.... and it shows. He must also hand pick his staff, because they are just like him.... worthless. I stopped by to buy some supplies the other day, like I always used to do (Ear wash, teeth freshener, vitamins, etc.).... I was told that new policies dictated that I would have to put in a request, and wait 24 to 48 hours before they could review my request..... they had no customers and the parking lot was empty! I was also made aware that the Vets didn't come in until after lunch. Well... God rest his soul, I'm glad Michael can't see this!

I have been meaning to write this review since February or March and I am just getting around to it due to I lost in my family. This is the most racist place I have visited or done business with since moving to Georgia in 2002. In addition, they behave as if they are doing you a favor by taking your business and they are rude, which akso makes you wonder how they treat their animals, because it is clear how they treat African Americans! I have been sitting in my car waiting for my fur baby to be returned after grooming and they will help all of the Caucasian people, which I brought to their attention and they brushed off. This has happened on a few occasions including the rude male who hung the telephone up on me three times. This is not a place that anybody of color that lives in Marietta should go even if the service was free! This is the most racist business I have been involved with since movi

I usually do not leave reviews, but this place is so terrible. I needed an ultrasound for my dog, first the doctor examined her and then did an ultrasound. He knew that she wasn't pregnant during the examination, but still did the ultrasound and said that she wasn't. I ask why didn't you tell me when examining her, and he said maybe there was a small puppy in there , with her 7 weeks "pregnant " I think you just want my money . Lack integrity.

I've been taking 3 dogs to Dr. Good for over 10 years. In all this time, I continue to frequent his practice mainly to support his cause of helping homeless pets-NOT because he's a great vet. In the past few years, the customer service is abysmal and the wait time is terrible. We understand sometimes businesses get backed up with other patients, but consistently waiting over an hour on each booked appointment makes the customers wonder if the vet is merely trying to pocket as much money as possible by overbooking. There's never an apology from the vet himself, nor his staff. Therefore, the wait must be common; they even have a whiteboard where they write the time you enter the waiting room with your pet, so how can they not know how long someone has been waiting? Truly, when you have a really sick dog who might have cancer and she's already anxious about going to the vet, is it fair to keep her in anxiety for over 1.5 hours and still not be seen?! I suggest we stop forking over our money to businesses who think our time is not valuable.

Just walked out of an office visit to see Dr Michael Good at Town and County Veterinary Clinic in Marietta. We waited 1.5 hours without the staff apologizing or saying anything to us. I have taken my dogs over 20 years to see Dr Good and have given him all the patience and understanding as well as the benefit of the doubt thinking there was a valid reason for the extended wait times. If this was an isolated situation I would not be leaving this review but an hour wait has become the norm at this practice I've learned from all my visits with a sick senior dog and that was before Covid-19. While I waited I checked his reviews and they are terrible 2.5. I am finding a new veterinarian and suggest you do the same.

A truly evil vet! Only in it for money & does not care about animals at all. Not just my opinion, have heard horrible stories from many people! Total sham.
