Friendly people inside. I called around to a lot of locations and couldn't find any mosin ammo. I happened to pass by these guys and took a shot. Low and behold they had it. It was expensive, but that's just part of the game unfortunately. Super excited to finally get my hands on some!

Neat little gunstore. Staff are friendly and very knowledgeable, and from what I understand, the senior member of staff is a gunsmith with a great deal of experience. Good selection of ammo and a great deal of collectible firearms. Would like to see them in a larger location with more space, as it's tight in the store.

I have been using Deercreek for over 20 years now. I've never been disappointed with their work. They're honest, knowledgeable, and always make you feel welcome. Highly recommend them to anyone in need of gunsmithing services for modern or classic firearms.

I’ve had them clean and refinish a couple guns. I’m always satisfied with the results.

Visited on 7.26. Extremely knowledgeable team here. Fair pricing. Great updates. Nice selection. Rifle threading completed and cleaned. Now they are fixing up my grandfathers old SKS that he left me. Cannot wait to pick it up. Customer for life.

You know from the minute that you walk through the door that it's a passion project - it's not your standard issue gun shop. If you're a history geek, a reenactor, or just someone with a hankering for something seriously "old school", you're going to love this place.

Store is pretty old, but the staff is very helpful and making you feel welcomed and the prices are a lot lower then the big stores. Definitely will be back (thank you for being in business)

My FIRST experience with them : I have a S&W 5906 that would not eject, making it a semi-auto single-shot with a 14 round mag. Two other gunsmiths had worked on it without success. I could not, in good conscience, sell it in that condition. They fixed it, fast, for not much money. My SECOND experience with them: Author Laura Montgomery was writing a series about humans re-discovering firearms tech on another planet. She asked me some questions I couldn't answer, about the progression from hand cannon > centerfire. I asked the gunsmith, and he not only explained the sequence, he SHOWED me examples, including flintlocks modified to percussion cap. Laura used this as background information! My OTHER experiences: I've bought from them Lee reloading equipment I couldn't find elsewhere; they also freely offered me access to their library of reloading manuals.I LOVE this place! It is CRAMMED FULL of all sorts of firearms, reloading, accessories, and related paraphernalia. It's the opposite of a Big Box store, employing hourly workers. These are people who are there because they WANT to be, not just to bring home a paycheck.I wonder if some of the ancient firearms hanging on the wall were battlefield pickups from one of the battles for Atlanta?
