“I live in Cobb County, Georgia and I had the Great Benefit of working with Mrs. Heather King-Green. I was nervous and in a time constraint. Everything worked out Magically Well. Just like she and her staff told me it would. Sigh. Whew.”
“I have loved the location in Kennesaw for years now, and only found out about the Marietta location in late 2021. This is a volunteer run shop with the most amazing people who really care to help you have a nice shopping experience. This location just like Kennesaw is always selling VERY gently used items and even a good bit of the time I will find things that are literally brand new with tags. Thank you for the generous donations of the community, as it is hard to find clothing that fits and thrift shops like SVDP are a lifesaver for finding all styles of clothing in your size at one spot. The holiday sales are especially generous where they will sell themed items for very very low prices. Thank you to this location for providing me such warm customer service during my pregnancy when I was here collecting baby items and baby clothing. :)”

“I want to thank the Must ministries shelter for taking care of my son during his stay there . They were very supportive courteous generous and showed him how to be a Christian in times of need when he was at his lowest point in his life. you helped him with shelter food clothing and a warm place to stay until he was able to find a job and a place to move to live. You are really doing Gods work and showing people how Christianity works. I pray that God continue to bless your work in the community. Again Thank you and God Bless ?”

775 Whitlock Ave NW, Marietta“My recent visit to Goodwill Thrift Store & Donation Center was a delightful thrift shopping experience! The store had a wide variety of items to choose from, ranging from clothing and accessories to electronics and household goods.
As I browsed through the aisles, I was impressed by the selection of items available. I found some hidden gems, including Wii and Xbox 360 games, as well as a sturdy computer bag that caught my eye. The affordability of the items made it easy to justify picking up a handful of treasures.
The staff at Goodwill were friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere for shoppers. Whether I had a question about an item or needed assistance locating something specific, they were always ready to lend a hand.
Overall, my experience at Goodwill Thrift Store & Donation Center was positive. The combination of a diverse selection of items, affordable prices, and friendly staff made for an enjoyable shopping trip. I would highly recommend this thrift store to anyone in search of unique finds and great deals.”

2667 Powder Springs Rd SW Ste 117, Marietta“Great experience. I was sent here from the Smyrna donations only location because they only accepted 2 bags there. Here a woman quickly spotted me and asked her coworkers to help me. An employee came out and directed me to put my bags in the blue bucket and they had no problem accepting all the things I had.”
“Sheltering Grace is a great program Its because of Ms.Churn that I kept my baby. I called on a Thursday By Friday I was on the way to Sheltering Grace and Ms.Churn and her staff welcomed me with warming open arms. These ladies go above and beyond to care for us. They have taught me and helped me so much and continue to help me throughout my journey. Dr.Bell is a great man that is very understanding, caring and also very loving. Ms. Churn reminds me of my grandma so much I have grown so close to her throughout my stay she is very loving, caring, and when it comes to her girls she does stand on business. Ms.Chelsea which is one of my house assistant has a loving soul and very spiritual and loves to guide me in the way that I didn't know I needed. Ms.Kayla which is my resident coordinator a very great and clean chef that is always cooking for the house and she never disappoints. She also introduce me to this wonderful church that I love to go to each and every Sunday. Ms. Kayla also has helped me throughout my journey as well. I could not ask for a better support system then these ladies and Dr.Bell. They are always looking for us something to do and be productive.”

4930 Davidson Rd NE, Marietta“I came here about a month ago, because it’s not that far from my work. They have pretty good stuff! Prices seem a little higher than my normal Goodwill, but this location does have more brands than my normal Goodwill, which is nice. Parking is free, clean store, very organized. The reason why I didn’t give 5 stars, is because no one greeted me when I entered the store and the employees seemed like they were in a bad mood or something. They weren’t friendly. Besides that, everything else was good. I’ll still shop here because they have a nice collection of good and clean items, but the employees should b able to work on their people skills.”

2401 Shallowford Rd Ste 124, Marietta“Great variety of stuff, good prices, clean store. And this Goodwill has actually conquered a problem that every other Goodwill store has. Most goodwills are great until it comes time to check out. Then you want to kill yourself. I know whoever is running these stores is smart enough to figure out you need more than one cashier and the cashiers that you have can't be the worst possible multitaskers have anxiety issues, no sense of urgency or be completely catatonic. When you see 11 people lined up at one register that should trigger your little brain to say hey we need to help that poor soul at the cash register. Well this Goodwill seems to have that down even the checkout process here is usually pretty good. General manager, call the other stores and shame the people who allow this type of checkout procedure to continue. Educate your peers please. And bravo do you serve very nice job.”

Thanks again Ms Carol.”
“I had the opportunity to donate a car and the experience could not have been smoother working with the Tommy Nobis Center. First-rate customer service and absolutely hassle-free.”
“I normally stop at this GW while visiting the area. The whole shopping center is undergoing a facelift, looks really nice. The area as others have stated isn't the safest looking, take precautions. Lots of parking, and quite a few others stores in the lot. The store is very clean, organized, and neat looking. I have walked out of some GW because of the clutter. You can actually find some good finds if you take the time to look. I found a exercise video & some canning jars that I needed. The store is a pretty good size. All the employees seemed nice and willing to help.”
“So grateful for this organization's help in bringing home our kitty! She has been with us for almost 3 months now. Julie was a huge help in making sure that we were prepared as first time cat owners and happily answered all of my many, many questions. When we came to the shelter, we were able to spend as much time as we needed to meet all the cats. We never felt pressured, but were given plenty of valuable information and advice. I appreciate the thoughtfulness they put into making sure that each cat is safe in their forever home. Pictures are from the well-kept cat rooms at the humane society. I love that the cats have room to move and play and are not kept in cages.”
“Lovely social cause and a great way to volunteer.
I had the pleasure to discover more about Books for Africa initiative and the great people behind it. I also volunteered to help pack the books that will be sent to Africa.
A great feeling to know your efforts are helping others across the globe.
If you feel that you want to give back to the society, this is a great volunteering activity.”
