Bob is an excellent teacher and does a beautiful job restoring classic instruments! My son has been taking saxophone lessons with Bob for over two years, and his skills and confidence have steadily improved.

Bob Haley (Owner) did an excellent job addressing a range of leaks and a dent on my Mark VI tenor, as well as replacing the neck cork and a few springs on my modern horn, all for a very reasonable price. Could not recommend enough!

Reviewing from a second Google account because I already posted a review from my first visit but this place is exceptional. I had to come back and dropped my clarinet off for cork issues. He replaced the cork, oiled the instrument, wiped down the silver keys, and play tested the instrument for only 20 dollars. This place deserves 10 stars so that’s why I gave double 5 star reviews from separate accounts for separate visits.

He is very knowledgeable and was able to fix my daughters flute very quickly and at a very reasonable price. It was a bit of a drive for us, but I will gladly go there again over any shop closer to us.

Cannot say enough about this place! A really good place to take an instrument for repair. A Dodgen band instructor recommended him for a few minor repairs and we have not been disappointed. My son, who is now in marching band, and all the heat, etc. takes a toll on his saxophone during the season and he fixes all those issues without breaking the bank and his sax comes out better than before! He is extremely knowledgeable, personable and loves his profession and it shows in his work. Highly recommend!

PHENOMENAL Service! Have been going there for years for lessons and repair work and never disappointed. Have had my horn repaired with very little turnaround and very reasonable pricing. Every horn player should have repair work like this, Please go visit Bob’s Studio!

Took my clarinet for repair and the dude at the shop went above and beyond. Price was very affordable and inexpensive and turnaround time was very quick. Service was exceptional. He took the time in explaining to me what was happening with my instrument and wasn’t trying to upcharge me for more expensive repairs my instrument did not require. I had a very pleasant experience at this shop and I will come back if I need more work done on my instruments. I’ve also talked about this shop to the clarinet group chats in all of my bands recommending the other clarinet players to get their clarinets serviced here.

My child’s school saxophone was unplayable and it was going to take forever to get it fixed. I brought it to Classic Winds and Bob had it fixed and ready in just a few days at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend.

I'm a music teacher and professional saxophonist with 20+ years' experience. Bob Haley (store owner) fully overhauled my vintage tenor saxophone recently. It plays like a dream now, the timeframe was quicker than estimated, and the pricing was very fair. I highly recommend bringing your instrument here, whether it is a student, intermediate, or professional model.

Bob Haley/Classic Winds was so great to us as my daughter began on the clarinet. The rental process was smooth and easy, without any hassle or extra charges. We then purchased an instrument with the same great service and some extra assistance and time from Bob.

Bob Haley is an accomplished, classical saxophonist, well known, and an asset to the state and community. He possesses a deep- heart felt understanding of the history of the saxophone, and imparts this comprehensive knowledge to his students and their parents via summer performance programs, post workshop concerts, and other community concerts that are educational and perfectly entertaining. My son has been with him since 7th grade, +5 years. Excellent programs and instructors.
