Most ****************************** on Earth After noticing engine issues with my 2011 ******* Santa Fe, I contacted Done ****** Motors of ******** ** in August 2021 to see about either an engine swap or engine rebuild. The owner, Jules, recommended an engine rebuild, which he stated would cost me $3900. I authorized him to proceed, and gave a down payment. During the repair, Jules texted me that the repair would run a few hundred dollars more due to additional needed parts, and I authorized. When I arrived to pick up the car on Friday August 13th, 2021, I was charged $4900, or $1000 more with no explanation. I paid it. The car made a temporary noise on startup which the owner said was non-fixable, and it might run a few thousand more dollars to repair. I accepted it in this condition.Over the following 6 months the car never ran properly. I returned the car 2 more times to DW Motors for oil leaks, and a valve leak. Finally the entire engine seized on Thursday October 7th 2021 when traveling from Alabama to *******. DW Motors towed the car over 100 miles the next day, back to his shop in ********, ** on Friday October 8th 2021. This time, Jules claimed the radiator blew and the engine was compromised and he would need another $1100 for a second rebuild. He didnt take any responsibility for the radiator, claiming it was not his fault (his guys probably dropped something on it). I paid the $1100 on Friday February 18th 2022 and picked up the car, bringing my total expenditure to $6000. The car had been in the shop for most of the last 6 months. With 4 drop offs, I had been to the shop 8 times. I told Jules that this was the last time I would be back to his shop. I picked up the car and paid the $1100 on February 18th 2022. With only a few days of driving, I noticed on Wednesday February 23rd 2022 the Check Engine light came on and there was a smell of gas and oil in the car.This is easily the most incompetent mechanic I've ever seen

Great experience with this company. They really know their stuff and were able to source and replace my truck engine (V8 Hemi) and get it running right again, at a really great price (half quoted costs elsewhere). Will be a return customer for any issues and recommend to anyone needing an honest, old school mechanic that gets things done.

Awesome, awesome, awesome. Honest, extremely knowledgeable, and kept me informed thru the entire process. He completely rebuilt the engine I requested and stayed to budget. The car drives like brand new again. I was so happy with his services, I already brought my work truck for him to repair. He is my “Go-to” shop for any of my vehicle needs.

I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GREAT THINGS ABOUT THIS BUSINESS. HONESTY IS ONE THING THAT I EXPECT FROM ANYONE I HIRE AND THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT YOU GET ALONG WITH FAIR PRICES,ACTUALLY MORE THAN FAIR PRICES. I BELIEVE HE SELLS HIS SKILLS WAY TO LOW,BUT WHO AM I TO TELL A MAN TO CHARGE MORE. HE IS REAL GOOD AND HONEST AND FAIR WHAT ELSE COULD YOU EXPECT FROM ANY BUSINESS. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS.

Jules is the BEST! He never tried to cheat you through unnecessary repairs. He"s honest, friendly and direct. It's like doing business with your Grandpa! I send people there ALL the time and they agreed. A place like this is hard to find. I hope he NEVER retires.

DONT GO HERE I took my car to Done Wrong Motors to get fixed on November 12, 2019, because I had a coolant leak. Hours later I get a call that my car has been fixed. Two hours after my car being out of the shop my car was smoking again and coolant is gushing out everywhere. I spoke with Jules (owner) about my situation and how this has inconvenienced me because I'm delivering orders and I can't work without my car. He arranged for a tow to pick up the car to have it worked on the next day while I took an Uber home. I pick up my car on November 13, 2019. He explains that he took off the aluminum hose and replaced it with a hose that he "made" out of rubber and that the hose would last a long while. Literally four days later I'm experiencing the same issue ( cars up in smoke) whole him in the middle of doing deliveries. So, those that he " made" did not last like he said it would. After looking under the hood I notices the hose he made had busted. I contacted Jules on Sunday regarding the matter hoping to get some sort of resolution to this unhoong madness. All I received was, "well I don't know what to tell you", mentions of how bad the hose was and etc. Not once did he mention coming to check out the car at some point to fix his mess up. He became really combative, over talked me, had a bad attitude. Overall just 100% bad customer service. I didn't even get an apology for my inconvenience smh. What baffled me the most is him saying, " I don't want to talk to you anymore and then hung up in my face. For me to be treated in such a manner when I paid you close to $300 to fix a problem that not even fixed is very disturbing. This man is very unprofessional, and his demeanor and attitude screams, I do what the hell I want and I don't care who likes it. He clearly doesn't know how to treat customers. Maybe I was treated this way because I am a women that has no car knowledge or maybe for other reasons. With that said, stay far away from DONE WRONG MOTORS. I would hate for you guys to have to deal with a person like this and be taken advantage of like I was. Off to reporting him to the better business bureau
