DO NOT BOOK A RENTAL HERE! This location allowed us to book a rental for a 16ft truck to move out of town. When we arrived the lady attending to reservations rudely told us that they do not have a truck available. When asked why we were able to book a truck the smart A front desk attendant said “Well you should have called to confirm your reservation”…..you mean the reservation that we have an email confirming?! She smartly said WE could check with their Lithonia store…over an hour away…and gave us their number to call & check.IMPORTANT - This is not a Budget location, this is a licensee, do not trust your reservation here! Do not expect good customer service here, don’t even expect professionalism from the employees. This kind of behavior starts with bad management and finishes with bad employee performance. I just want to reinforce that this should be the last location you choose, do not expect a pro service level, and call ahead if this is your last choice. If you made it this far, just choose not to book here so they get shut down.

This locations trucks are dirty, pound, and just a plain mess. The maintenance on the trucks is non existent.

This is for the Crittenden Rd., Louisville location: First, we almost couldn't find the place. Then, they didn't have the confirmed truck, even though I made the reservation days ahead. No advance notice of that. The guy behind the counter just shrugged and said that's all he has. Didn't offer to check with other Budget Truck Rentals in the area. We had to call one of their competitors, and got fast, professional, and friendly service and were on the road within 30 min.

Rented a Truck for 6 hours. The manager Chris told me to park my car in a designated area which I did. I came back to return the truck and the same manager had my vehicle towed. The impound fee was $195. He discounted my rental by $50 and thinks that was satisfactory. I will be taking this all the way to the CEO if necessary to get my full reimbursement.

Gave them a debit card, so they spent 15 minutes calling my insurance company and putting me through a trial because it was a debit card. I guess that meant I was a high risk client. I had several thousand dollars in my checking account. I'll never use them again. Btw, I had an account I set up online years ago with a preferred customer number. They said it was policy and wouldn't cancel the debit card and use my Amex. My policy is that I don't use companies that make it hard for me to do business with them. See you...

Use these people at your own risk. If it was possible to give less than one star I would have My reservation number was 1808360421471. That is important because when I went to pick up the truck at 8am the morning of my move I was told that, since i am using a debit card to pay (the same card I used to make the reservation) I must have a bill to corroborate my identity. No problem, I'll just pull up my car insurance bill. The young gentleman behind the counter said that doesn't work, I asked him what would work, he said a bank statement. No problem, I can pull that up on my phone. Nope, has to be printed out.I'm fairly frustrated at this point but ok, when the bank opens at 9 I will go in and get a statement printed. I did....guess what, not acceptable. Why? The address on my bank statement didn't match my driver's license. Remember, I'm attempting to rent a truck to move to a new location. I have already changed address at my bank, but Georgia DDS takes a minimum of about 6 weeks to send out new license...six weeks before I moved I didn't know where I would be living so I really couldn't order a new license. Not that any of this made any sense whatsoever.When he told me about this (first he ever mentioned about addresses matching) I asked wat if my friend with a credit card rented the truck and added me as a driver (for more money ) he said that would be acceptable. I'm pretty frustrated at this point after being quoted policy that is nowhere to be found on the budget website nor on the registration form and when he continued talking I asked him to please not say anything else to me right that minute...all he was doing at that point is frustrating me more and making me angry.My friend with the card came back in with me, we handed him our licenses and her card and he began entering information in his computer. At this point he stopped, handed us back our information and said I was rude to him and he had done everything possible to help me but his manager said he didn't have to rent to us.It gets better. after wasting an hour and a half with this arrogant moron, having movers scheduled to arrive in 30 minutes, I called Budget customer service. I was told they do rent with debit card and there is no additional verification required. The issue was handed off to the inventory manager and was told I would receive a call within 2 hours. Apparently there were/are no available trucks within 15 miles of Marietta, GA because 4 days later I still haven't heard from Budget. So they obviously do not care.The kicker? I still had to pay the movers, and they were great, but it took until 1:30pm to find an available truck (with Penske). Instead of having the move completed on Monday, it took a second day, another truck and an additional $770 to complete my move thanks to Budget's complete lack of concern and common sense.Use Budget at your own risk.

I wish I can give this place -10 on customer service and fraud I would . Let me first start by saying this location should be closed , employee should be retrained and then maybe they can attempt to do business again . I have never in life been to a place when I see a outraged customer upset while I was renting a vehicle from this place , that should have been RED FLAG #1 that this might not be a place that I should give my money to . Yes as I was processing my rental a lady next to us doing the same, erupted I mean she was pissed he told her that she doesn't know what she was talking about trying to make her feel complete silly and the manager at this place is very disrespectful individual he does not know how to speak to women and needs to be fired . I have been back and forth from one store rep to a manager telling me that have to get the story from the worker when me the customer is giving him all the details . So long story short my friend rented a vehicle they charged me the 419 .00 which the reservation was not under me and refused to refund me . I called the manger and we went back and forth like 5 yr old children I mean it was ridiculous over 63 .00 $ they added on insurance after I told them I have insurance and do not need It . they need to be FIRED for their lack of customer service and inappropriate remarks this place is SAD !! Just BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE ALL THE COMMENTS ARE ACCURATE !!!!

This was horrible! Supposed to be quiet ride, ha! Sounded like a jet engine! Supposed to sit 3 people but the 3rd seat was a jump seat and we had to straddle the dashboard to sit in. It was filthy and the cab leaked when it rained! It also had over 150,000 miles on it! Look at the pictures.

I made a reservation online for a 12ft truck arrived on time to the Budget location The female agent that assisted me told me that Budget doesn’t have 12ft trucks in the state of Georgia stating “I don’t know why the site lets people book for that size” She asked if I would like a van which was smaller in size I had a few larger items to move so I declined She told me she had nothing else available I was so d*** founded at her lack of concern and inability or unwillingness to correct the oversight that I asked for the manager only to find out I was interacting with “the manager” She said she couldn’t do anything about getting a larger vehicle and when I inquired about another location she just stated “No one else has any trucks available” without even checking I was in town to help my son move and had to figure out how to get another rental truck same day to say I was furious and highly irritated is an understatement This lady should not be a representative of any establishment involved with customer service When I contacted Budget customer service line I was told someone would contact me in 15mins to 2hrs to get a truck which never happened This explains the unprofessional behavior of the manager Budget lack of leadership starts at the top
