Do not rent from this place. The customer service is horrendous. When my husband and I walked in we immediately said hello to the 2 men that were standing in the office. No reponse, dead pan. "How are you doing" ... nothing..My husband and I looked each other and thought, umm should we just turn around and leave.. who needs this energy. We proceeded to request our rental car that we booked online through Costco. I wanted to pay with a debit card, and use my own insurance, the agent proceeds to tell me that I have to call my insurance company to verify my insurance. (never ever had to do that at any other car rental place, and I have rented a lot of places, just never Budget). Lastly, the car he had for us was not in the class of service I booked. I took it as a sign and looked at my husband and we decided.... we will NOT be ever renting from this place or any future Budget car rentals.

Dillon was really good to me today. My car broke down and was able to get me into a car in no time. Definitely will remember you if there is a next time if I need a rental

I have rented 15 seat passenger vans from them twice for commercial trips and have had a great experience both times. The staff is very kind and helpful. The vans have been in great condition also.

Just found out several Budget locations in Norther Atlanta all have the same answer, we do not have the car you booked online. The corporate office should step in and deal with this issue as those locations are renting their car on their own way and prices and the surpassing the system.

Nicole at Budget helped my family and I when we were in a hairy dilemma! I recently rented a car at a competitor (enterprise) and even though I had made a reservation ahead of time, it still took two hours to get on the road. Nicole got me in and out in under thirty minutes! She was courteous, kind, helpful, and made us feel welcome! I am so grateful! They also had plenty of vehicles in the size range we needed to accommodate my gigantic family! I highly recommend this location, and specifically Nicole!!

I would give ZERO Stars if possible. Rented a truck from this location - by the Big Chicken. Supposed to get a Toyota Tacoma of similar. I got a Ram 1500 - much bigger. no inventory on lot. Around 9:30pm - my brother in law was out in the driveway & noticed the interior light inside was ON - Instrument Panel Only. No other interior lights were on. We searched for a way to turn off those lights - tried pulling a fuse / couldnt locate the right one. Finally he said we needed to pull the battery cables and rebook them since we were headed to Augusta the next morning - leaving at 4:30AM. we Googled the issue & of course it was out there. It's an electrical issue with this truck. If you don't unhook the battery - it will be drained. The next morning we had to rehook the battery cables before leaving at 4:30am. My sister in law & I - 2 females were headed in this huge truck. We have no car knowledge. Once we got to Augusta - we had to unhook the cables again. My brother in law gave us a ratchet to complete the task. Doors had to be manually locked - this Truck is huge inside to reach across to lock the doors. The passenger front door does not have a key option - only on the drivers side. After 8 hours - we made it back to the truck & had to rehook the cables & use the ratchet to tighten. Returned the truck the next day - asked for 1 free day for the 2 day rental. I thought this was a VERY REASONABLE request. The request went to the Atlanta Regional Operations Manager Laura Fisher who only approved a 50% discount off the daily rate. SERIOUSLY ??? My original bill was $178 and it was discounted to $134. Fees and taxes were still applied. So I got a 24% total discount. You expect a customer to have to disconnect & reconnect the battery in order to use it. I did contact the Budget-Atlanta customer service to challenge the discount offered. After 1 week - no response back. I called again and the phone agent said the mechanic took it in the shop and couldn't duplicate the issue. NO KIDDING - It's an ELECTRICAL SHORT - it's not going to happen all the time. Read about it in the internet. Very POOR customer service. The phone agents response - that's the only discount we can offer. Do you think I made this story up??? Just the inconvenience of us having to disconnect & reconnect the battery to ensure it would start To not share in the issue - by offering 1 free day rental is ridiculous. Obviously - I would not recommend Budget Atlanta. I would recommend customer service 101 training.

On the front end renting my car was a great experience over the phone and in person. However, when I dropped the car off I had Nicole to work with who said she was a manager and came out to inspect the car. She discovered a very small amount of dirt/dog hair on the floor boards. Therefore, we would be charged $75 to clean it. She said she could charge $300 if she wanted to. I said how do you get the vehicle ready for the next customer? She said they vacuum and wash the car! Really? They do that? She was so unreasonable and even told my son not to use the trash bin out in front of the store. This was text book customer no service. I will absolutely never rent from Budget again and will be contacting the company and Costco about this matter.

Before i say anything negative about this establishment; I would like to say that Brandon Harrington was the best. He went above and beyond, trying to make things work. With that being said! Chris called my wife with a very condescending attitude. My wife informed him that we would be using a debit card. Chris said it had to be from a reputable bank. Then he told her to bring in a bill with her current address, but he didn't inform her about the other information she needed. Don't assume because of how we are paying that it's not from a reputable bank. We will be contacting costco to have you removed from their list. Thank you so much, Brandon, for your help. You're too good for that place!!

If you need a 'proof of address' to use use a debit card, make it PLAIN in your reservation system.The attitude displayed by the attendant made it that much easier to leave.
