“I’ve lived at this property for three years, and during that time I’ve gone through a lot of real-life ups and downs. What has stood out to me more than anything is the people who work here, especially Gina McLean. She is the General Manager and the true Director of Property Operations in every sense of the word.
Gina doesn’t just run a building. She deals with residents’ struggles, daily issues, emergencies, staff, and every situation that comes through those doors. And somehow she does all of it with compassion, patience, and a calm spirit that brings comfort to people who are going through things they might not even talk about out loud.
There were moments when I honestly did not know what the outcome of my situation would be. I felt overwhelmed, embarrassed, and unsure of what to do. Gina met me with understanding and kindness every single time. She didn’t treat me like an apartment number or a problem to fix. She treated me like a person. Her empathy made me feel seen and cared for at a time when I needed it more than I could ever explain.
I truly believe God placed her here for a reason. She has been a blessing in my life, and I’m not afraid to say she was an angel for me during some very difficult moments. I will always be grateful for her support and the way she carried herself with grace, even when things were complicated.
Living here has meant more than just having a place to stay. It has meant knowing that someone in leadership actually cares about the people who live here. Anyone thinking about moving in should know that Gina is one of the reasons this community feels like home.”
“It's a great place for seniors. Very clean and they are still building to make it greater than just a building. Very good it's close to the hospital, police department and court building, Post office and downtown fun , and food, city parks also many churches. I think it's great location.”

“Pro: The staff and management in the Cleaning crew are very friendly and they maintain the environment. The Lake view is beautiful attached with the fountain in the center of the lake. Additionally, I like the wildlife like the fish, the turtles and the beautiful ducks.
Con: The residence the/tenants they don’t respect the environment. There’s trash and littering. I believe the tennis should have some common decency and respect their environment because we are paying for it.”

“This is my second review. Spent 3 amazing years here. The staff is perfect . Idek where to start. Briana literally is perfect that’s all I will stay. Never had any issues here. Everything was solved promptly and communicating is always fast online and in person. In Person is my fav because everyone is cool. Karen is amazing. Shoutout to Carlos as well .Stephanie. I can’t remember all the names lol but if I recommend this apartment highly. Very clean, I love the soccer field also. I love that they keep things for the community as well and look out for the residents. So much! Shout out to Briana again!!!”

“Believe me when I say I Love Peach Stone. It's like my hometown except everyone has aged a bit since we were kids. Some have aged poorly and endlessly remind me of their struggles to which I nood and smile and do my best empathetic. If I think a neighborhood nutjob is the biggest fool in the world I just bat my eyes a few times and a bigger more robust fool appears.”

“I stopped in this apartment complex a few days ago and they were busy as could be. Phones ringing, people coming in and so on. I have to say, I am not sure how these people in the leasing offices deal with the people they deal with. People are rude! Demanding, argumentative. Just down right nasty! Now, the manager and assistant turn to me. I'm thinking great.... they both just got put thru the wringer. Instead, I got the friendliest smile, the answers to every question I had, and never once did I feel like I was a bother to either of them. I had the best experience I've had in a very long time in this office. Thank you and kudos to the office team at Wood Pointe! You ladies are amazing!”
“Nicole and Katrina are wonderful at the leasing office. They are nice and helped me into my place. They gave me the inspection tour before moving in and have been in communication ever since. The neighbor is quiet. They are very helpful. Even the maintenance moves effortlessly to get things fixed.”

Update: Things are going well after about 4 months. I did need to put in an emergency maintenance request, but the response was quick. Everything was solved the same day. Otherwise, I haven't had any other issues like mold or pests. Keeping my rating at 5 stars for now!”
