I had two cats one male and one female who needed fixing and a standard vet visit. Both times we were treated practically like family! No joke and I know that's cliche but I'm serious. With my first cat I called like three times to check on my boy and each time they answered with kindness and compassion. They are thorough and very educated in what they do. I would recommend them to anyone. Plus the Steve Tate Hwy route is BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Enjoyed our first visit to this clinic. The Dr addressed the concerns I had. (I had just adopted this cat a week before my visit). I was concerned my new cat was sick and might pass to my other animals. I am happy with how the visit went and will be bringing my other animals as well.

Wayside Animal Hispital is a fabulous organization, their techs the receptionist are top-notch but Dr. Lewis who runs the Practice is a caring knowledgeable and kind veterinarian who treats each pet individually not by what their breed says but what they need and he loves on them and he makes sure that you as the owner have all the information you need to care for your pet. I highly recommend this organization. I’ve had some really bad situations happen to me since I moved to Georgia and I wouldn’t go to anyone but Dr. Lewis after the things that happened at these other veterinarians. I highly recommend you see him out. They’re opening up a new location to add to their hospital list in Ellijay, Georgia , great organization

Had an appointment for my three dogs to get shots on 4/23/24 at 11am, but shortly after making this appointment, I needed to reschedule for 4/30/24 at 2:30pm. The day before our appointment, we contacted Wayside and confirmed the 2:30 appointment for the following day and even had an email confirmation. Upon arrival, the receptionist said we missed our 11am appointment and we would have to reschedule. I explained that the 11am appointment was rescheduled, but they said they had no record of it. I even showed her my confirmation email, but they said there was nothing they could do except reschedule. Normally, this would not be a problem because we used to live very close by, but we recently moved an hour away, so hauling three dogs that get car sick isn’t convenient. I asked if they could squeeze us in because it was just three shots, but they could not accommodate us….even though the whole mix up was their fault. I understand that things happen, but I also think someone could’ve administered three shots in under 10 minutes. If Wayside reads this and comments, I’m sure they are going to say they also had an “emergency” coming in. Well, I saw the “emergency” and it was just a normal looking dog that did not appear to be in any distress. Like I said, I completely understand that mix ups happen, but I also don’t think that administering three shots could be that difficult. This was also very inconvenient because we are moving out of state in a few days.

We had to take our dog to the Foothills Wayside - which isn’t our regular stop. But they were wonderful. They knew our male Rottie was coming and they were ready for him. They took great care of him and put our minds at ease.

I never feel rushed. No question is too ridiculous. Even though the business has grown by leaps and bounds, they still treat you and your pet as No. 1 … can’t say enough good!

Staff is friendly and helpful and Finn receives great care at Wayside Animal Hospital. It’s very convenient to have the Foothills location too.

EXCESSIVE CHARGES! Brought our dog to Wayside Animal Hospital, Marble Hill, today to be spayed. The Staff were professional and kind; did not meet the female vet. We were given an cost estimate of around $250 and upon picking up our dog we were charged almost $100 more. We were charged $55 more because our dog weighed more than 50 lbs. She was 54.6lbs. We were charged $30.50 because the vet said our dog was in her final stage of heat and had an enlarged uterus. We were sure our dog was over being in heat. These UNEXPECTED additional charges at pickup were unreasonable and unfair. I will not recommend this vet for this reason.

This was our first visit to the Foothills office. Great staff, very caring and attentive to our sick cat. Definitely a great place to take our four legged children..
