Melissa designed the most beautiful bouquet for the celebration of a miracle. Her design with calla lilies, red roses and stock was magical. The fragrance was over the top. The turn around time was extraordinary and the price was extremely reasonable. We so much appreciate Melissa’s professionalism and expertise!

This market is well organized and pretty. I liked special priced vegetables and hot food. Meat with 1 side is 7.99, meat with 2 sides is 8.99. Chicken tenders and fried chickens are all yummy. When I went to pay, I found pulled pork. There was no pulled pork in the food section so I didn't know it existed. It would be better if pulled pork was also displayed in the food section.Anyway I’ll try them next visit.

Store is decent I stop there often on my way home from work. They have sold me me expired food twice in the last month. Not sure if they have someone new in charge of checking dates on food. I'm also not sure if I will be shopping in there in any more.

I visited the Foothills Parkway IGA, in order to simply get some hotdogs and buns. I was in town visiting a friend and was told to go down to the local IGA. I was waiting in line and there was a woman in front of me with a ton of groceries, which is not the issue at hand, but it does pertain to the incident. The cashier spoke to this woman multiple times in their interaction with each other, even offered to have her leave her groceries at the front while she visited the restroom. I had my items on the conveyer belt but could not reach the divider at the time due to the amount of groceries the woman in front of me had. So I put my two packs of hotdogs and two packs of buns on the belt and waited beside my items. The belt started to move and I moved up with my items, as the cashier started to quickly grab my items and scan them, adding them to the total of the woman in front of me. When I realized this, I politely spoke up, saying “oh those items are not hers, they are mine”, I proceeded to receive a dirty look from the cashier and she snarkly commented (not even asked), “well where did that start at?!” Acting like I purposely had her ring up my things. I stated “the one hotdog and the one bun pack”. She huffed her breath dramatically and started pounding away at the register when a manager came over and asked which items needed to be overrided. The cashier then says “these two things because SHE (referring to me) didn’t tell me they were hers”. I’m like, I did tell you? She finished checking the lady in front of me out and handed her her receipt nicely. She proceeds to scan my items, avoiding eye contact all together as well as not acknowledging me whatsoever. She aggressively rings up the items and the bagger bags them. She does not tell me my total like she did with the previous customer, but instead just stands there with her arms crossed, looking away. I pay for my items and the receipt prints and she basically tossed it at me. I take it and I ask her “why didn’t you speak to me at all?” And she goes “I didn’t say anything rude to you”, which I said back “yeah you didn’t say anything at all to me, just gave me attitude. I’m sorry you started ringing up my things on accident, but I told you that they were mine and not hers”. She goes “yeah well that’s what the DIVIDERS are for” , I’m like “I couldn’t reach it but I was standing by my stuff”, then the bagger mumbles something under his breath so I ask him to speak up if he has something to say. And he goes “well you COULD’VE said something BEFORE she started scanning them”. I said, “how was I supposed to know she was going to start to scan my items? And when I did notice, I said something.” And basically they both were trying to argue with ME, the CUSTOMER, about her making a mistake, which like who cares?! It was an accident, just accept it and move on. No need to treat me rudely just because I didn’t have a divider. Like excuse me? So I told them both that I’m sorry that she made a mistake but she didn’t have to make the interaction between us a) awkward and b) rude. I was nothing but pleasant to them and felt it very unnecessary to be treated that way. I will not be returning. I’ve never been spoken to that way over something so trivial. I’ve worked in customer service/ the food industry for 15 years and have had many unpleasant experiences with entitled/ rude customers but NEVER have I spoken to someone the way I was spoken to that day for something no more than an accident / override. I am appalled. That’s just ridiculous to treat a customer that way when it was nothing more than a simple mistake.

This place was built 21 years ago, primarily for the residents of Big Canoe. Very pricey. Recently acquired by Lowes. Some items are know even more expensive.

Friendly staff,. moderate selection. It's the prices that kill me... I regularly shop at Whole Foods in Buckhead that's way cheaper... IGA is often 15-25% more for the same item at WF... I guess gouging is acceptable when you're the only option around... Here's hoping Lowes Food (the new owners) are more reasonable...

Look & feel of the traditional family market. IGA deli is one of the best with fresh food. A lot is home cooked with a great country flavor.

This store is such a much appreciated gem!! Two minutes from Big Canoe, and they have every single thing one could ever need. We were so thankful not to have to drive another hour to the next closest grocery store after our long trip. Thank you!!

Kay, at check out, couldn't be nicer! The world needs more efficiency, courtesy, and customer service like Kay! Shout out to Sandy and Rachelle in floral, and Vince in produce, too. They couldn't have been more gracious during my interruption of their routines in order to assist me in securing boxes!
