This post office does not even deserve one star. I wish there was a negative star rating. Any positive review you see for this post office I can assure you came from an employee that works there, or is from a bot.I have never seen more incompetent people in my life. We just moved to the Madison area six months ago, and have had one problem after another with this post office. I have never in all my life had the problems with mail carriers that we have on a routine basis with this post office. I routinely get other peoples mail, and other people’s packages. I have taken other people their mail or packages five times in just six months.They routinely mark Amazon packages as delivered, when they haven't been. I've had five different deliveries marked as, "Delivery attempted but they couldn't leave the package." In every case they lied about the attempted delivery, and I know this because I have cameras all over my home, or I was home at the time. I have gone to this post office four different times to try and locate my packages, and found four, five, or six other people standing in line for the exact same problem. Every person in line remarked on how terrible this post office is, and how much they routinely lie about packages that were not actually delivered.I have a covered porch, and there is NO gate on our driveway. There's no excuse for a package not to be delivered, yet they routinely mark packages as "Delivery attempted." I spoke with a supervisor about this and her response was "You need to speak with your mail carrier about that. I have 13 routes here, and I don't know who your letter carrier is or why they mark packages as delivered or attempted."This problem has become so bad, that we’re now having all of our mail and packages from Amazon sent to a local UPS store, via a different post office. Someone with authority in the postal system, like an area manager, really needs to take a hard look at this post office and how they operate.

Fraudulent operation in Madison. They mark packages as delivered or other lie when they don’t feel like delivering. When you show up at office they have the package there - don’t lie about delivery attempts!

Worst post office I have ever seen. Unprofessional they think everything is a joke. Never concerned about any issues such as lost mail, etc. Yes spoke with them and yet it's never a concern for them. Someone higher up needs to revamp this office O and don't ask for higher ups number they say there isn't anyone.

Absolute worst postal service! Would give zero stars if I could. We are always getting the wrong mail at our home & business. They constantly lose our packages & deliver to the wrong address. We as well as others have spoken to management about it & iys like she doesnt care at all. I have even said something to the carriers we have & they do not seem to care at all either. I think someone high up with the US postal service definitely needs to come investigate & make mandatory changes!

I hate even giving them 1 star, they deliver when they want and if they don't like your street they won't deliver at all. So we pay business and personal city taxes but I have to go to post office every day to get our mail and these are 2 different locations but same mail problem and post master says mailman doesn't like our street because the city has taken 3 yrs to finish what they damaged. This is the worst post office ever

The absolute worst !! I never get my packages on time and I have tried to resolve it with the post office but can never seem to get a actual person on the phone the few times I did they are very rude and unhelpful. I have been told on more than one occasions when I call about my missing packages that the carrier forgot it and I can come pick it up myself at the post office …Seriously !! They always mark my packages as “delivered “ when I never get them. I Wish there was a way to not get any of my mail through usps cause I most definitely would do that ! I suggest using fed ex or ups they are amazing!!

This is the WORST post office I have ever dealt with. I never get my mail when I am supposed to and our carrier almost NEVER delivers our packages to my door. When she delivers them she leaves them at the bottom of my driveway to be stolen. When I called to speak with the PostMaster, Margret she was extremely RUDE and unhelpful. If there is a way to change my packages to never have to be delivered through this USPS I am going to figure it out. This USPS is hands down the most unprofessional, slack facility in all of Madison, Ga. I highly recommend having your packages delivered by Fed-Ex or UPS if you live in this area. USPS is terrible and very unhelpful.

If I could give zero stars, I would. The mail lady (red hair) came up to my house, honking her horn. We go outside to ask why she is honking her horn, as we have a sleeping baby inside. She doesn’t say anything. Has both our packages (2 small Amazon packages) in her hand and refuses to get out of her vehicle. My husband told her she could get out and deliver them, or wait a second for us to come grab them. She then drove off with both packages! She scanned them as delivered. Madison’s application pool must be really low.

Worst mail carrier, for some reason the mail carrier always delivers our packages to the wrong address! This is so aggravating. There is a duplicate mailbox number on another street, there is a label inside the mailbox and they still cannot deliver the mail to the correct to address. Your mail carrier needs to pay attention, everyone on our street and the other street is complaining.

The absolute worst! I’m so over this sorry postal service! We may get half of the mail that is suppose to be delivered and that’s if we get any delivered at all. There have been numerous occasions where we have gone 4-5 days without receiving any mail… like no mail period. Then check the mailbox and it’s crammed full of the missing mail and packages from the week before. Oh and you can forget about calling the post office they will answer put you on hold and let you sit there without ever picking up the phone again.

If I could give negative stars I would, everytime I go in to get labels printed and boxes shipped I get the run around, one person says its good, the next person refuses to do it, this has happened several times, I have to drive to Watkinsville to get 2 packages shipped because our local pack and ship store is even worse than our local post office.

Horrible! For the 3rd time in less than a year, we had mail that was claimed to have been delivered, but nothing in the box. This last time, we had 2 packages totalling about $100, yet nothing there. Don't bother trying to make a claim, the response said simply "reported as delivered to your box". Tell that to everyone on our road who also didn't receive any mail.Not to mention, our carrier has damaged packages, scratched my wife's car, and broken the flag on our box, by trying to force items in. Also, dont try to phone locally for help, no one answers the phone. Again, HORRIBLE!

Lazy carriers and sorry sorters. I've had to tell my family to stop mailing me things because I've had 2 letters never make it to my home. I hate the people that work here.
