My experience was terrible here! I had a rearend put in, almost $1000.00, (Only to find out the housing was bent.) I put a set of new Cooper tires on it AFTER the rearend was put in, and an alignment done at a different place (Madison Car Care). My back tires started wearing out QUICK with less than 8,000 on them, all the way to the bar, but they were wearing even, so I thought it had something to do with where I actually had the tires put on. So they put it on the machine, which clearly showed the angle and toe were not right. Sometimes when I backed up you could hear this sound, sometimes really loud. Madison Car Care said it had to with the rearend, which I had had replaced, here. So I went back to S & W to talk to them. I was told they would take the housing back out of my old one and put it back in. But unfortunately, he said it was gone. So he said was going to try and "bend" it back. He did (said 1/4 in.) and replaced the back tires with USED tires. Well I didn't know that until after I had picked my car up, after hours cause he had called and asked me if I wanted to come pick it up then, or wait til in the morning. I said I would come then just leave the keys in it. But after I drove it, it drove different, the frontend seemed really heavy and the rearend seemed lighter. I called him and asked him what in the world did he do to my car? He said nothing. I said, something was wrong with it and explained. He told me there was nothing wrong with my car to just put gas in it and drive it. REALLY??? I told him my car did not steer near as good as it use to. Come to find out, he put a different sized tire on the back, he said they wasn't as wide as the front and were an inch taller. When I said something to him about the tired being the wrong size he got mad and I could bring the car back to him and he will those tires back off, and put my "old ones" back on. REALLY!!! As a result of that, I now have HORRIBLE gas mileage, the rearend still makes the noise occasionally, it drives like crap. He called hisself "fixin' it." (Mustang)
