Madison Produce is a quaint luncheonette located on a corner in the downtown historic district of the beautiful town of Madison. It embodies small town charm and is a fast disappearing part of Americana. The cafe is charming and clean, with a welcoming and friendly staff. Service is counter style, with seating offered at an old time bar counter, inside tables, or outdoor sidewalk tables with umbrellas. It provides a busy lunch atmosphere but food comes quickly, making it a great place for a quick, casual lunch. Many customers seem to be regulars. The food is very good, fresh, and made to order. It is not fast food. The menu features lots of standard lunch sandwiches, like a turkey reuben, BLT, and smoked turkey jack, all at reasonable prices. Portions are large and very tasty. The freshly homemade BLT on toasted sourdough bread is perhaps the best ever, with the toasting giving it an extra crunch. Some note that the ciabatta bread on paninis can become very hard and tough. Sides like potato salad or a wedge salad are perfect accompaniments. The front of the store also offers produce for sale. The Madison Produce Company is highly recommended for its good eats and small town charm.
Visiting from out of town and spent the afternoon in Madison going to shops. We stopped here for lunch. Very good, fresh sandwiches. Easy ordering. Busy lunch atmosphere but food came quickly. Highly recommend!

Great lunch stop found unexpectedly as we took the back road from FL to NC! Madison is such a beautiful town and the Madison Produce Company provided small town charm and good eats. The service is counter style with seating offered at the bar, inside tables or outside tables. The wedge salad was just perfect!

Great freshly homemade BLT sandwich with tostad sourdough bread! The toasting of the Bread gave it that extra crunch!! Super Good! Great place for a quick casual lunch at an old time bar counter & service? I'll make more visits to this location!
