I purchased a stove and appliance power cord from this location on May 16, 2024. The order was placed online and was supposed to be delivered. I was notified that the items were picked up and in transit for delivery the following day, May 17, 2024, at 9:55am. At 2:21pm I received a notice that the items were delivered. The delivery company never made it to the delivery address. I was confused so I called Lowe's to inquire and upon checking their system they confirmed that my order was completed and delivered. The person who was helping me on the phone wasn't much help so I asked for the name and phone number of the driver who claimed item was delivered. That's when I discovered that Lowe's uses third party delivery companies and the one they used to "deliver" the items I purchased is called Spirit Logistics LLC. I called the delivery company and spoke to the "dispatcher". She told me that she would try to track down the driver and contact me back. Hours went by and I did not hear from her so I called back. Was given the excuse that she wasn't able to track the delivery truck because GPS wasn't working and driver isn't picking up his phone and was told that she will keep trying and will call me back. More hours went by with no call back and no updates so I reached out again. This time I was told one of their trucks had been in a "fatal accident" and she wasn't sure if it was the truck that was supposed to deliver my items. What kind of delivery company doesn't know which truck they own was in a FATAL accident? It was so ridiculous and I knew at that moment I was being scammed. I tried calling the Madison Lowe's location for help but all they did was pass me to different departments and eventually I was passed back to the first employee at customer service who initially picked up when I initially called who had the audacity to put the phone down and walked away because she didn't want to talk to me anymore. I want a refund as soon as possible or else I will seek legal counsel.

Went to get flowers for the yard and was looking for one in particular, Wandering Jew. As usual, not a big selection and absolutely no help!! The flowers they did have were pretty and they had a lot of annuals but no Wandering Jew. Good sale on potting soil though!

So displeased with my ONLINE appliance purchase. Had appliances delivered and the refrigerator doors are not level. It was delivered from the warehouse, not the Madison store FYI. It is a french door fridge and one of the doors sits higher than the other which prevents the unit from sealing properly. I called Lowe’s customer service and they stated since I didn’t use the Lowe’s store credit card (through Synchrony Bank, so no thanks) I only had 48 hours to report an issue. They did however, relent and send out a tech who said there was nothing wrong with the fridge and the floors were uneven. He suggested we shim the levelers on the back of the unit, but did not have any with him and did not level it for us. Just an FYI that when you purchase appliances from Lowe’s, they hire whoever they can find to deliver it (someone with little to no training), they drop it and they leave. One would think when you pay thousands of dollars for appliance delivery it would come with a certain standard of service. You would be wrong.

I went into the store last Monday and bought a machine. It was to be delivered Tuesday. I received a notice between 4 and 8 p.m. I had to pay someone to stay at my house as an unexpected trip to Florida came up. At 2 p.m. I received a text m essage the delivery team was on its way. At 6:30 p.m. a call from
Lowes indicated the deliver team arrived
back to their facilty and the delivery would be made next Tuesday.I called the department where I purchased the washer and told the lady to cancel the order. She indicated a call would be made to me confirming it.Never happened. What a mistake buying at this location.

This store location is on it. Waited hours for a pickup order at another location (Athens, GA) for it to never be ready. Moved it to this location and it was ready in less than 20 minutes and our staff was in and out of the store in 1-2 minutes.

I had my floors measured and I still have not received my quote in reference to a written quote a breakdown. They just told me this ridiculous amount over the phone for $4000 for 400 ft.² putting floors in. Please explain the amount and the breakdown and the labor cost and etc.. Don’t just give a customer a quote over the phone and not tell them exactly what they are paying for this is so very unprofessional.

It’s the only place in Milledgevile to find most of what you need in one place. Not all that orderly when it comes to small items as you will find things misplaced. Just make sure you look at everything you are buying to ensure like items are the same.
