Won't let you provide a loving home for a animal unless you meet there guidelines and requirements like unessasairy vaccines and our other dog is not fixed due to vet saying she needs to be 2 years old before it's done due to her being a large breed dog. And they require them to be fixed @ 6 months old

Highly recommend adopting. We adopted our girl when she was a puppy, and have had her for about 3 years now. She is the absolute love of our life. We came in expecting to just look and had to have her, boy has she changed our lives, and we couldn’t thank the humane society more, we love her!!!

Would not recommend here. We tried to adopt a dog that we fell in love with, our daughter loved her, and the director refused to let us adopt her because of having young kids. But also refused to see how this dog and our daughter interacted together, before making her decision.

We went to pick out a dog and a cat the same day. We found both , and the girl that helped us that day was super nice and very helpful. We turned in a application immediately for the kitten.((which they said they were in desperate need for people to adopt cats))My wife and my 11 yr old daughter went back the next day. My daughter fell in love with kitten. Then we were questioned if the pets were going to be inside? My 5 yr old is allergic to cats so we would need for the cat to be outside. In a very rude way the woman working that day said they wouldn't allow us to adopt unless it stayed indoors! Soooo. If you want to "rescue" a pet that lives in a 2x2 pin at the humane society it must stay indoors. Otherwise they will be euthanized, doesnt make sense????
