We were recently burned by another so called moving company and was really leery when we contacted U-Pack. But the only thing that we can honestly say is that we are sorry we did not contact them first. Their service was superb, from our first conversation with them until the pick up of the truck after we had unpacked it. They were outstanding with timeliness, customer service, pick up and delivery. And let's talk about cost savings and efficiency. Anything that we would say would be an understatement.

Thank you so much this worked out great for us we moved from Maine to Macon GA. The house we was buying fell through because the seller didn't have it ready so we changed location to Florida and they were so great about the whole move thank you you pack I will recommend you to all my family and friends

Excellent experience overall, and definitely the way to go for a move the size of ours (basically one bedroom of furniture moved approx 900 miles one-way). Everyone affiliated with UPack was professional, courteous and helpful...particularly the Local driver and persons I spoke with at the local facility. I would have given 5 stars but there were a couple of little mix-ups re our movers picking up the contents at the destination site (pod couldn't be dropped at residence due to parking restrictions). No one from UPack previously mentioned they only allowed unloading at that particular site until after noon...despite several prior phone conversations to discuss the unload process (movers were scheduled for early in the morning). There was also a minor 'glitch' allowing our movers access to the pod when they arrived at the UPack facility. All was resolved somewhat quick/easy...just would have preferred a little clearer communication from UPack about those things to avoid last minute scrambling.FWIW - Upack website is correct. Success of the move depends on how well YOU pack the pod. Fortunately I got help from a friend with experience placing boxes, and strapping everything in. We had one tall piece of furniture that had to be laid down, while most boxes were filled with fragile items. To make things work, we built a temporary shelf/floor...hung to the walls via hooks inserted into existing metal slots in the pod walls. Worked like a charm (though admittedly I held my breath until the doors were opened post drop-off).

The U-Pack team was really great. The drivers were very helpful and patient with our time table and were very flexible with the pick up. They went above and beyond in accommodating our needs. You could also reach a real person at the terminal to talk with and update you with information. Made the move so much easier. This is the second tome we have used U-Pack, and both times it was a good experience.

The Macon branch was very polite and courteous on the phone when scheduling my trailer pick up. The driver was super friendly and helpful as well.Now…ABF as a whole…not a bad deal. Kind of pricey if you ask me for the condition of the bulkheads and the trailer floors. My trailer had no bugs of any kind when I was loading it and prior to transport…but upon arrival it was infested with ants! Totally unsure of how that happened…but it did.I would definitely recommend ABF though to someone who did not want to drive a uhaul across the country!

U-Pack was a good service. It was less expensive than some other moving companies, but the relocube is also considerably smaller, so keep that in mind. I was moving from Tucson, Arizona to Warner Robins, Georgia and I will say everything went fairly smoothly. My drop off and pick up in Arizona and Georgia were all routine with no issues. My biggest issue was the delivery. The paperwork says 5-7 business days (estimated... that's how they get you) and my cube arrived in 11 business days, after being delayed twice. I found myself being frustrated thinking that if I had kept the cube longer than the 3 days allotted to pack and unpack, they would've charged me more, but they have no responsibility for the same kind of delays. Otherwise I was happy with the people and service.

U-Pack/ABF freight is a great service. Timing was slightly off what was promised, but overall no big deal. Defiantly worth what we paid. Be sure to take photos of the space you took up in the trailer. The photos they took were not clear and tried to invoice for a little more. Honest mistake, and they took care of it. The bulkhead are HEAVY and beat up. I had to use tools to get them to latch. Customer service was always helpful and friendly. Recommended company.

I made a reservation over a month in advance, six days before the move they canceled on me! I even called to confirm the move two weeks before the move date. They offered me a new move date, a month past the original date. I would not recommend. They left me in a serious pickle.

My wife had an unexpected hospital visit just when we were supposed to get the cube picked up. The Macon office was very flexible in delaying the pickup to give my wife a chance to recover a bit before making the trip to Louisiana.

The most cost effective movers for an interstate move. We hired guys at each end to pack and unpack the van. The communication and support provided by both the Macon, GA and Delray Beach, FL was EXCELLENT! I regularly called for either help making a payment, or determine when to pickup/drop off, etc. We had a difficult situation with our house purchase falling through during the pandemic, and the support staff helped us figure out storage until we could by a different house. Super patient. Even getting an invoice I needed for reimbursement before a certain date, they took initiative and were proactive. Customer service was excellent compared to most business nowadays. They showed up when they said they would and picked up truck when they said. Drivers were extremely polite and both requested either a pickup or drop off of the ramp when we used the entire truck. They took the time to educate me on why a parking location was better than another. My only slightly negative statement is that they underestimated the amount of space we would use in the truck, during our initial call. I knew that would be the case since we had 25 yrs worth of stuff. Even with professional loaders, we used the entire 26' of space, and had to leave a little behind. I had preshopped PODS, United & Allied- all looking for a self pack type move. ABF/Upack was cheapest & best overall (their storage costs are a little more expensive than PODS). I have used them for 2 interstate moves: 2005, 2020. Well done & thank you!!!

It was a pleasure working with U-Pack from beginning to end. They went out of their way to make the move go smoothly for us, and were willing to pick up the relocubes the same day that they were delivered. Great service!
