I’ve been banked with them for years and I’m closing my account with them. Their customer service has went down tremendously, they’re not customer centered. I rather bank with someone that has the customers best interest at heart, and cadence bank is not that kind of bank.

If you want Fast,Friendly,and Professional service definitely go to the Gray Branch. Avoid this bank at all cost(Cadence Bank Northeast Macon)!! They are rude,unprofessional and they don't even try to help you. I had to rate so I can leave a review but they don't deserve that star!!!

I've heard multiple stories of cadence bank stealing peoples stimulus payments while saying they're sending them back to the IRS. Called the IRS, and they haven't received them. Not to mention their systems can be easily hacked using a cell phone app.

This is easily the worst experience I have had at a bank. We were with State Bank before it became Cadence Bank, and while not impressed with them per se, they still got things done. I called the 800 number for some help on my accounts, after further looking they directed me to call the local branch and ask for Brandi. She is easily the most useless banker I have ever spoke with on the phone. Maybe she's better in person, but over the phone plain ole useless. Took forever to access my accounts, couldn't figure out how to work their system, gave me wrong information, different from the 800 number, was unwilling to help much, supposedly was going to refund 2 charges and she never did.

If you have chemical sensitivities or problems with fragrances of any kinds DO NOT do business at this bank. There are scented candles and bowls of loud smelling potpourri. Walking in the door was like a slap in the face. Also one of the employees is very rude, both this time and on my previous visit.

Went to the branch today to discuss opening an estate account. Was immediately greeted by a teller. She was warm and friendly. I told her what I needed and she advised me to have a seat and someone would be with me shortly. A patron was with one representative at her desk. Two other ‘patrons' were sitting and casually talking in the waiting area. I spoke and took a seat across from them. After about ten minutes one of those patrons leaves. The other then approaches me and asks if she can help me. I told her I'd like to open an account. She doesn't ask me to her office or desk but proceeds to question me about the account needs, my previous bank accounts, need for credit checks, etc. all while we are in the common waiting area. I excused myself. I will not be banking with this location for certain and possibly not this bank at all.
