"Stay away from this place—they messed up my windshield and wanted me to cough up cash for it. Here’s the quick version: I got my windshield replaced less than a year ago, but then I got a little crack. When a tech came to fix it, they didn’t do a good job, and now I’ve got a big crack and need a whole new windshield. The rep on the phone said the replacement was secondhand when I mentioned I didn’t trust the glass, and guess what? The warranty is invalid for new damage. Total rip-off. I found this new place called Auto Glass Now in Macon with a 4.8 rating. I’d rather deal with people who actually know what they’re doing.”

Website completely changes your expectations. Don’t let them fool you. They say it will be 0-120 with insurance for full replacement; however, they are only telling you the price for the glass. They don’t add in any other charges that may occur. Their site does not make this clear in the slightest. Full work still costs 500-1,000 dollars depending on your car and insurance provider. They need to be upfront with what you will possibly be paying.

IF I COULD LEAVE 0 STARS I would. I had a crack smaller than a quarter and the man came to look at it and left making it worse. The windshield now has a crack going across the ENTIRE windshield. And now just says oh well you need to pay for a new one.

I had a small problem with my repair. I called three different phone numbers to schedule a fix for my problem. All I got was a message to go online or a voicemail that was full and couldn’t take any more messages. Crappy customer service.

We had a rear window shatter from debris getting kicked up my a truck on the freeway while driving to visit family across the country. Our car was loaded with our belongings and we had our 2 large dogs with us. While they didn’t have the glass available in the weekend, they wrapped the window with plastic and let me hang out with the dogs inside in the air conditioning while the glass was being cleaned up. They got us and our dogs ice cold water and provided a much needed friendly and kind rest break on an otherwise very stressful day.
So friendly and helpful. Thank you so much!

My initial appointment was with Dalton and he did not call in the morning as he was supposed to; he did not bother to communicate that he would not be coming to my appointment or provide any explanation! Dalton failed to provide any communication, concern, or any level of customer service!! However, I called and my appointment was rescheduled for today with Jordan and it was astoundingly refreshing!! Jordan not only communicated, he showed that he cared and took the time to listen and make sure that I felt heard. He also did a phenomenal job on my complete windshield replacement. He has a true heart of a servant and a joy and appreciation for what he is able to do. He was polite and respectful, and very knowledgeable. Because of the service I received from Jordan today, I will always suggest for anyone in need of windshield replacement or glass repairs to use Safelite and ask for Jordan!!

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS! I REPEAT DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS! I scheduled an online appointment at the Macon Ga location due to a small incident where a landscaping company was responsible for my broken window. The company agreed to take care of the bill. The day of the scheduled service, I called just to see what time the tech was coming out and THIS COMPANY INDICATED I WAS A SCAM ARTIST! I am a hard working citizen that’s gainfully employed, why would I need to scam! The people in the Macon Ga office stated to me, “you’re a scam! We cannot service you and if you have a problem you call the corporate office!” They actually hung the phone up in my face while I was trying to get an understanding of what was going on! I am highly upset and don’t need my name tied to anything illegal, such as a scam artist. I’m currently speaking to my lawyer!

I made an appt. two days ago online to have my windshield replaced $864!!!! The customer service personnel at the desk called me yesterday to confirm and gave me instructions on what to do. Plus when I made appt online I also got a confirmation of my appt. The instructions were for me to drop off my vehicle this morning at 9:15 am since my appt. was at 9:30 am. I was also told a technician would call me during the day to keep me informed about the status of my vehicle. At 3:00 pm I had not heard from anyone. I tried calling all the phone numbers listed on the website and no one answered it kept referring me back to the website. Finally at 3:00 pm today I had a friend to drive me over from Milledgeville ga to Macon ga when I arrived my vehicle had not been moved from the place I parked it this morning. All the manager could say was I didn’t have an appt they were going to have to work my vehicle in. I showed my confirmation and he just kept repeating the same thing. I left in my vehicle very upset and will take my business elsewhere. Very poor management and I would never refer them to anyone!!!!!!!!!

I had 2 small chips repaired back in November. And now they look worse than they did there cracking like carzy. And when i called then to see what could be done. They said id have to replace my windshield.
Then i ask to speak to there customer service manager. She explained that the guy that had done the work ( repair ) on my truck windshield was a trainee still in training. But they couldn't do anything else except replace it. And I'd have to pay for it. Needless to say, I will not recommend em or be doing anything business with them.

Best experience of my life all the employees were absolutely the best and a great asset to their company. Yet to top it all off a wonderful customer which I had been speaking with while we were both getting our windshield fixed was so kind to me he finished before me about 15 minutes ahead of me. Can you believe this gentleman actually paid the whole amount of my deductible when the manager called me up to tell me my car was ready will you take a charge card for my deductible payment he said no it's paid for I almost fainted the man before me paid my deductible we have been talking quite a lot about how God has been working in my life doing so many wonderful things for me I believe my life is mostly acceptance without approval through the good times and the bad times I know that God is always with me the gentleman was certainly very kind and sharing person I can never thank him enough should he be reading this by chance I want to thank him with all my heart and let him know how much I certainly appreciate what he did for me and I didn't even ask it was such a surprise and he was gone and I couldn't even think him

Absolutely terrible. First, they no called no showed to their 1-6pm window. When I called at 6:15 got their voicemail box stating their business hours were till 5 pm, I had to call back next business day. Not only did I take off a full day of work, but now wasted a saved day off only to be stood up. Quite pitiful from Safelite AutoGlass as I called the next day to cancel my appointment from the previous day and all I was told was “ok”. There was zero reasoning or excuses for not contacting myself the previous day or as to what happened or anything, just “ok”. I could only laugh. Will never use or recommend Safelite AutoGlass to anyone.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with Safelite's services. A technician named Kevin visited my vehicle and performed work on it. However, I later discovered that he had pocketed the money for himself and had only listed labor on the receipt. Subsequently, the window began malfunctioning again. Upon further investigation, I learned that Kevin is no longer employed by Safelite due to similar incidents. Despite this, Safelite refuses to rectify the situation and repair my window, claiming ignorance about the work performed by Kevin. This behavior is unacceptable and suggests that Safelite is employing external contractors who engage in fraudulent activities without providing warranties. I am deeply disappointed and consider Safelite's practices to be a rip-off.
