I’ve been coming to Hudspeth since 2018, I’ve had nothing but excellent service inspite of my aggressive pitbull who is not so friendly. They absolutely are an added benefit to the fur owners.

Took my senior chi to the vet because I thought she had a stroke and was barely eating for a few days. They ran labs, tests and told us she had low blood sugar and a bacterial infection and sent us home with loads of supplements and antibiotics. I called the next day because my dog was not getting better BUT WORSE. They told me they would be closing shortly and to take her to a hospital in Warner Robins. I did and that vet told us that an attempt to get her back could be made but, she could also be here again in 12 hours, in which I’d recommend euthanasia.” My dog died, and now I don’t really know why or how but, this place made certain to get the payment of $500.00 for false hope. Don’t go here.

Update: I took my dog to his regular vet just a few days after this visit. Evidently the care these ppl told me to give to my dog was questionable. Our dog is still recovering and well but if I had not made the visit to my own vet and exercised common sense, I know my dog wouldn't be healing well. Maybe they did that so I'd have to go back to them and spend more money but my intention was never to do so. They were used because I HAD to but Ive read the reviews in the past and know they are sub par compared to where we go. It also speaks to the area they serve and how they treat ppl and their pets which is sad because everyone should get the best treatment possible. Like I said, it's a last resort. We won't be using them anymore though.
Had to go here for an emergency and it's ok. they took care of my dog but if you're looking for a place that seems caring or professional...I wouldn't pick this one as a primary vet. Even the phone call to them was weird and I was placed on hold for pretty long, then we got there and we had to wait around. It seemed very clinical, uncomfortable seating, and very small. It made me appreciate my regular vet even more. It's okay if you have no other choice on the weekend and NEED to be local. I would personally drive all the way to Atlanta to our previous vet and pay more if it wasn't a dire situation and our dog wasn't uncomfortable. I also don't like the way they do their payment set up. It's so impersonal to sign payment information before you even see my dog. I've never experienced that in over 20 years of having pets and I've lived in several states with my pets so I've seen various vets. Customer service and the way everything is presented are two areas in which they are severely lacking.

I have a four year old Aussie and we have been coming here for about two years. I absolutely adore the environment here and the workers. They always have patience with my Levi. I also have their wellness plan which is $57 a month. It includes all his appointments and medication. I think that’s a great price with the amount of things that are included. Definitely recommend coming here.

Took my Frenchie 8 weeks old here the staff is very knowledgeable and gave me documentation since I’m first time dog mom! Very great place for your pets!

Given the sadness of what transpired that day I would prefer not to leave specific details. I will note that the staff was very professional and courteous, and that all arrangements and payments were able to be made over the phone as to ease along what needed to be done.

Tried to take my pet here Sunday 1:30am because of a snake bite. They are listed as being 24 hrs and it was the closest stop for us. They did not answer the door or the phone. My pet literally could have died and I hope their license to practice is taken.
