“During a recent visit to Georgia I experienced the Seafood clerk at this store as being phenomenal. She handles the customer just the way she wants to be treated and selects the seafood as if she buying it for herself. She will give you ideas how to cook what ever you select and herbs and spices to consider. In addition, she can suggest what wines to pair with your purchase. Karen is from the old school of politeness.”

“Normally fresh market in Macon is always a five-star store. Well organized, clean, employees are super nice, and products are awesome. The store even smells good.
However, I'm very disappointed with their chicken pot pie. Barely any stuffing inside and hardly no chicken. The taste is okay but more to the inside and more chicken would make it better. I'm telling you I have to search for a bite of chicken.”

“Meat is very cheap & the other miscellaneous very high, there's new owners now, but before the place was very nasty , very bad offer smell , used have bad & ghetto ppl.there hanging around smoking playing loud music. And the old owners hold let other ppl. Sell bootleg CDs & other items on the property. Now the new owners I see a big difference, it smells better, more room to walk by . the floors are much better now ( the floors was very dirty & blood water was on floor from the meat)but now there's new ownersNo hang outs , the staff much better/ helpful & nice the old staff had a nasty attitude & sit down every time I came to shop. I see a huge difference now .But would like to see better pricesI have to shop 2 stores , this place is known as the meat store . Cause the large section of meat & better prices but the other miscellaneous are very expensive. Also again I see a huge difference since the old owners left . They had an nasty attitude also.I wish they would wear uniforms instead of regular street clothes.& name tags or at least the same color.”

“What a hidden gem in south Macon! Excellent authentic Mexican food tucked into a small grocery store. The food is prepared when ordered, so was fresh, hot and delicious. The store has a variety of items including fresh baked pastries from an authentic bakery. The owner was very engaging and spent time discussing her wonderful business with us. The rest of the staff were friendly and helpful. I have found my new favorite restaurant and go-to for great Mexican cuisine!”

“This location surprised me.i haven't been on here in a couple of years til a week back and then again a couple days ago and it's great.i love the fact that u walk in a get a nice greeting with smiles and happiness.the store is clean and has everything plus more then most dollar generals I've been to.its worth the 30 min drive.respect,kindness,and good hospitallity here.”

“I had the pleasure of meeting and being professionally served by Aubrey in the deli department today. A constant smile and many friendly things to say while he worked. He has only been on the job 3 weeks but he’s got everything under control. Fellow employees were quick to encourage and help him when he had to change blades on the slicing machine. I like seeing greatness in action I I got a major dose of it at my Kroger Zebulon Rd. today!”

“I've been coming here for years, the honey lemon pepper wings are my favorite! My mom loves the house mild sauce as well as the philly cheese steak. My fiance likes their burgers the most. Their fish is good too but the wings are DELICIOUS! I love that this place is close to my house so that I can walk here whenever I need my chicken fix.”
