I love GMFS! Mr. Peterson and Lindsay were both efficient and dedicated every step of the way. Any questions I had they always responded within the same day, whether by phone call or email. I originally went to a “ big box” realtor company which didn’t go well at all . I had family and friends that recommended GMFS Mortgage and strongly advised me to call or go in person and see what my options were. This was the best advice! I met John and Lindsey and instantly felt the commitment to my loan and best interest. Lindsey worked fast and thoroughly throughout the whole process. We had a flawless experience and was able to close 2 weeks early too ! I strongly recommend this company and the staff with your next or current business. Thank you and we love our home!

Johnny Peterson was beyond helpful throughout our first home buying process. He was able to not only answer all of our questions, but also provide us valuable advice and help. I understand most people have had a good experience with this company and John Peterson is a good man but I would not recommend them to anyone based on my experience with them. My loan closing was pushed back 6 months and I was constantly misinformed of what was going on with the home I just built. I eventually had to come out of pocket $12,000 after being told for over a year that I would not have to. My loan was poorly manged and I was never told of any issues.It should also be noted that gmfs will have specialized loan servicing manage your escrow. This is by far the worse company with the worse customer service i have ever dealt with. I urge any one thinking about using this company to research specialized loan servicing before you make that decision.

Carla Vento was our loan officer and she made the entire process super easy. We had not purchased a house in a long time and the process this time was fast and easy. Carla kept us in the loop on everything was going on. I highly recommend using Carla for your loan needs.

Could not recommend this mortgage company more! We originally financed with them in 2014 and just completed a quick and painless refinance. Carla Vento in the Macon office is top notch and SO EASY to communicate with. She is very responsive and gives great financial advice. 5 stars!!

Second time I've taken a mortgage with GMFS and it was awesome, again. Everyone is so nice and helpful and things went very, very smoothly. Particularly thankful that Susan at the Macon, Georgia office was my loan officer. I would highly recommend GMFS to anyone applying for a mortgage or a refi.
