Recently purchased a low mileage 2023 Santa Fe to replace our 2016 Santa Fe we had purchased new. When visiting Five Star Hyundai of Macon we met Amber Dennard, a salesperson who listened to what we were interested in and she worked to make it happen. Amber was available to answer our questions, never wavering to help us find the perfect SUV. Have recommended Amber and Five Star Hyundai of Macon to friends and would purchase from this dealership again.

The staff was friendly and the prices were fair. We felt like we wouldn't get a better deal anywhere else so we bought our new car from them. I did feel like their website pricing wasn't completely transparent and it took a LONG time to get through the offer process, but overall we were satisfied.

As far as purchasing goes, I'd highly recommend them. A nice and tidy dealership with friendly folks. Amber did a great job of working with me over a couple of weeks and made it happen. The finance guy was relatively low pressure. The only thing that's a bit annoying is the tiny front parking lot. I'd recommend pulling around back. As for the service dept, I can't really give feedback, hopefully I never really will have to!

I took my car to the dealership in mid-June because there was a noise coming from the right front passenger door while driving at certain speeds on the highway. As of August 21st, I still haven’t received my car back, and I’m still waiting. It took nearly a month just to have my car inspected, and during the two months it’s been with them, I’ve received only one update. Every time I called for a status update, it was difficult to get through, requiring me to wait over 30 minutes, only to have the call disconnected. The staff promised to have the technician call me with updates, but I’ve never received a call. I can’t understand how such a minor issue could result in my car being kept at the dealership for two months, and it has been extremely inconvenient. I even requested a loaner car due to the ongoing delays, but that request was denied. I’m unsure how much longer I will have to keep calling and waiting to connect with a technician and to get my car repaired. My patience has reached its limit. I find the current situation extremely incomprehensible and irresponsible. As a car owner, this has been the worst dealership experience I’ve ever had.
The battery alert was activated since the car was sitting on the parking lot of dealership for two month and it would reduce the lifespan of the battery for sure.
Please complete repair and return back to me ASAP.

Wasted my few hours because after finalizing everything they suddenly added 'Dealer Service Charge' despite them having advertised that the price they showed online on CarGurus includes the fee. Once I brought up this to their attention they just blatantly disregard their own ad. I don't understand why they advertise certain price of they don't want to honor their advertised price.

Dont believe the video on the webpage of the so called Five Star Experience!!
The Five Star experience I got was this, walked into the sales floor show room Saturday Aug. 17th at 12:15pm. I was preapproved with my bank and going to buy a new 2024 Santa Fe. All I needed was to test drive and look at color and options.
I walked in and no one, not a single person greeted me or even acknowledged my presence with so much as a head nod. Again not a single person. I stood there for 15 minutes and watched 1 sales lady in a conference room eating lunch (ok i could overlook that), another sales rep talking on his cell phone to his g/f or maybe wife based on the conversation he was having, certainly was not a customer. 2 other salesmen in another room talking to one another. Then a man who I assumed was a finance or maybe even the manager walked by me twice....yes twice...without so much as a hello or even a head nod.
After 15 minutes of being ignored i left and drove all the way to Southtowne Hyundai of Riverdale South of Atlanta and purchased a 2024 Santa Fe!!
Five Star Hyundai lost a guaranteed sale!

It will be whort your time and money to consider acquiring a vehicle from Five Star Hyundai of Macon, is been over 3 years since I got my Tucson from them and words (so far) can not describe how happy I am.

Just changed my 2022 Tucson (trade in) for a 2024 Tucson Amber my sales rep was great, very professional and reliable... pretty much she helped me get what I wanted!
