5/12/24 Store #10678, Auth# 193495 Sequence No: 797101. Receipt is in photo section. I'm at the register to purchase my items and the cashier told me nicely that he did not have any change in the drawer to give back. So another employee says "there's a sign on the door stating that there is no change and that people don't read and that I would have known that if I read the sign". Black female employee with short blonde hair. I'm a black man and i get tired of how our own people talk to each other but slow to speak to speak and use that negative tone to people of other races in public like she did me. Ill just take my cash to another company for now on and shop elsewhere. Most of the time the process meats are old and out of date at this same store. But ive never complained about it to management. But now I choose to do so publicly since that's how management wants to speak to me in a setting where multiple other customers are present. I left the receipt information so that if this gets back to that particular management member she can look it up and see exactly who i am. A REGULAR customer up until now.

We were the only white people in the store; it was definitely a mistake to shop here. We were ignored/overlooked/dismissed while the patrons "of color" received friendly/enthusiastic service.

When I walked in the door I was greeted with .. "What do you have in your pockets" and was told " it was for my safety. When was checking out I was telling the cashier about it the manager walked up as I was wiping my card. Grabbed my bad and canceled my order. This place is disgusting. It smells like urine in the parking lot and the cashier was the only one who treated me with any kind of customer service. I live in the neighborhood and shop here after. This is a typical visit lately.

The store manager (or whoever she is with that tired blonde wig) is RUDE and extremely PETTY! I came to browse the store and she harassed me and prompted me to leave because I was in there "too long" for her liking. Then she saw me with my phone and ASSUMED I was taking pictures of merchendise ? is that illegal now? She continuously stopped me and asked questions as if I was a thief of some sort! I didnt have any bags or even a jacket on, nothing that I could hide merchendise in. I was alone and had absolutely NO INTENTION to steal anything! But you couldn't tell her that. All she saw was a young black girl and she equated that to RISK. I never imagined that racial profiling would come from within my own race, let alone at little ole Family Dollar! I guess some people just don't have anything better to do! ??? I'm already dealing with enough, I don't need to be troubled in any other way. NEVER going back here again! ?? PERIOD!?To the district manager, y'all need to hire or promote somebody ELSE!!

This place is horrible. The manager is ghetto and rude. The cashier made remarks about people going "grocery shopping" due the fact she couldn't handle a cart full of groceries. There's an issue when that same cashier rung me up and charged me double for what I purchased and still didn't ring me up for everything I put on the counter. So instead of talking about people
and how they shop for food (which wasn't me but it was said in front of me) pay attention to what the hell you're doing! They don't answer the phone and I don't care how busy you are it needs to be answered I've worked in that type of environment before it's not that damn hard! Need new management and sales associates that knows the definition of proper customer service!!
