My new camper needed some audio help in a big way and after a ton of research I decided to “convert” (it’s all 12V anyway) to a car stereo vs buying a replacement RV unit. I went in to the Macon location with intentions of buying some specific items but after talking with Brock, John, and Chris, I went a slightly different direction. These guys are super knowledgeable and very helpful!

Just read the other 1 or 2 star reviews , not much else needs to be said however this one caught my attention. Here is a particularly interesting comment from a client of Audio Zoo"The cost for installation was very expensive and I found out that they did not run wires to each corner of the vehicle, but instead cut into the factory wires starting with the amp under the passenger seat and spliced into the speaker wires in the doors and the dash. I found this out later and after Audio Zoo closed temporarily due to COVID-19 outbreak when it first started to occur. After they "fixed" the issue with the tweeter falling through and the power windows hitting the back of the speaker every time you roll down the window, I had all kinds of engine noise going through the speakers"I was working at audio zoo during the whole covid scam and I can guarantee that the stores did NOT close at all due to the plandemic but the owner did file for payroll protection assistance. He might be the next one to get saved by the IRS

I took my vehicle in got a quote, then scheduled appointment. At the appointment time the tech didn’t have a clue what he was doing. As well as my backup camera couldn’t be reconnected and more parts was needed. I was told no problem they would order it. Get it hooked up as soon as it comes in. Manager said it was above the cost, but he would cover it because they should have known it was needed. It not only took a long long while to get the part in, I finally got a chance to get it installed. As well as let them know my overhead speaker was dangling and I had a bungee cord holding it up. they then installed the part to get the camera working. I was told I had to pay for the part and installation. I reminded him those fees were all paid in advance and it was not my fault they missed a needed part. I argued the point and decided if they won’t to do business in an unprofessional way and can live with it, than I can live without it. Keep in mind, my camera isn’t correct, my dashboard was not installed back correctly and rattles, with gaps, yet I would never ask them to repair there mess because I don’t trust their work or professionalism. I’m stuck with it as it is.Granted all this happened at the beginning of 2023 and I’m just now writing here about it.

I have been using Audio Zoo for over 10 years after many bad experiences with another local and popular audio store. Because they have always transformed my vegicles sound into a magical experience, I recently gave them my newest vehicle (2017 Explorer) to bring it up to par with my other cars. They did a fantastic job with new speakers, subwoofer, and amp and tailoring everything to my picky needs. Their patience, customer service, and friendliness from every person that works there is top-notch! If you are looking for an audio store that sells Only Quality Products, fair prices, treats you like family, and stands behind their work for the life of your vehicle, go to Audio Zoo.

I do not recommend doing business with this location. I took my car in there on 2-28-23. As of this date, 7-19-23, they have not completed a job. All I asked for was a system that sounded good and a back up camera. I've got the system (which is ok, at best) and I still haven't gotten my back up camera! They are horrible about returning calls. They will let you pick up your vehicle, with the work incomplete, and promise to call you when your "parts" are in, but they never call! When you go in, they still "have to order it." Sounds like a lie to me! They have been paid in full. My bad. They are dishonest and the do substandard work. Save yourself the headache!!!

This place used to be the best around, especially when John was there. They have gotten too big and no longer have the time or manpower to spend. Their software program doesn't even have the capability to print out a line item estimate without a deposit. Was a repeat customer for years, but no longer.
