I stopped today to get some deli items and Meka was such a pleasure!! She greeted me with a smile, informed me of other options, and was easy to talk to. Additionally, I got a sandwich made and she walked over to assist me there as well. Felt like I was just chatting with an old friend, making jokes! As I was checking out, Sandy also assisted in bagging my items and saw me out with a smile. Great experience at thus location!

My reason for two stars is simple. Out of my last five pick up visits. There were only two times where my order was ready all five times I’ve stayed in the store for at least half an hour while they prepared finished or found my food. Today was just the last straw for me. What is the point of putting in an order at noon only for it to not be ready at 6 PM? Nobody knows why it’s not done. The lady in front of me was ordering platters that no one had completed. I just don’t understand. I see several associates. Everyone is walking around and doing something. I understand I have worked in the industry, but if you’re not gonna be able to fulfill an order, the least you can do is let a customer know so that they can make dinner arrangements for their Family

Shout out to Meka for making my veggie sub sandwich with love and providing excellent customer service. When more customers showed up, she went out of her way to acknowledge everyone and let them know someone will assist them shortly. We need more people like Meka. Thank you so much!

Flailing location. Staff members are generally unhelpful. One bagging clerk comes to work intoxicated regularly. The overall attitudes and vibe of the store are terrible. People appear to be in mental anguish over clocking in for their shifts. This store does not have even HALF the selection of its neighboring Mableton store on Veterans, or the Smyrna and Powder Springs locations. They do NOT honor Publix Promise at this location and instead find creative ways to argue about what IS and is NOT on sale. It's ridiculous. A lot of very young hires at this location, which makes for chaos. However, if you happen to be "assisted" by Portia or Saleesi, buckle up buttercup, because you're about to be treated as though you are devoid of any brain cells. In fact, they act as if they stock the store shelves from their own personal pantry at home. Mableton Walk is a pathetic representation of the Publix brand, which is generally more expensive than its grocery competitors. In an ideal world, they'd shut this store down and open a Trader Joe's in its place. Here's hoping ??

BEWARE The store manager Kevin Kidd is a Predator. I have shopped at this location since 2017 and by far he has be the worst addition to that store and most disgusting person I have encountered. The way he watches other woman who have nice figures or bigger parts is absolutely disgusting and corporate should get involved ladies be cautious.. I now shop at whole food due to this behavior. I will never feel safe in a Publix again. I once was at the pharmacy area and was looking through the door window at him watching another customer with a very big butt on his computer screen absolutely just disgusting to see behavior like that. I’m sure yall will just move him as usual.. Ladies don’t forget that name KEVIN KIDD!!!

Overcrowded barely any room to walk, shopping was not an ease because there always seemed to be someone in the way.
I’m pretty certain the cashier intentionally withheld one of my items.
Update: this Publix is still slightly ghetto 7/9/24
