Excellent community of people and coaches. With a background in yoga I was initially intimated to try it out. That feeling quickly vanished when I was welcomed by not only the supportive coaches but the encouraging community. You are not throw into the wolves! This skilled crew will guide you through and individually educate you on correct form in GREAT detail! I have been at CWC for about a year now, going 4 days a week. It's my therapy, keeps me healthy in great shape, gives me great energy and I enjoy the people I get to work out with.

I did some video work for CWC and just had to write a review. This place is full of amazing energy and personality. People of all ages and all walks of life coming together to do their thing. Very cool to see! I really enjoyed collaborating with Danny and meeting some of the faithful members. I had goosebumps while listening to transformation stories from patrons that carry a genuine love for this place and the people surrounding it.Awesome crew and gym!

I went in for a free trial and it exceeded my expectations! Rachel texted me beforehand so i was familiar with what was expected of me before arriving. I came in and got straight into the workout which was challenging but also felt different from other crossfit gyms I’ve been (specifically that they accommodated my beginner status). I would highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for a welcoming fitness experience

I've been coming here for about 6 months, and it's been a fantastic experience! I was very out of shape when I started, and the coaches are extremely patient and helpful. I've now hit a groove in attending and feel a lot stronger and in much better shape. My wife decided to come watch one day, and she's now doing the private lessons before jumping into the classes. They do a really great job adjusting workouts to your skill level.

Being a member of the Crossfit West Cobb family is a life-changing experience. The coaches' passion and the community members' support are all you could ask for in an environment like this. The classes are fun and challenging at the same time and are designed to help you be the best version of yourself. Every day I am amazed by my progress. Health is wealth! Just show up!

Always a good time getting tortured here. The coaches are great and foster a safe workout environment. Don't be afraid to do Crossfit. The workouts will be adjusted for your age and ability. Give it a try!

If you’d have time traveled to give the early 2021, 52-year-old-dad-bod version of me the news that I’d one day be featured in a member profile for a CrossFit gym, I’d have laughed pretty hard at you (and probably pulled a muscle or three in the process). So, I’ll describe my CFWC experience as surprising in all the best ways. I joined CFWC a little more than a year ago after another member encouraged me and my son to join with a group of Smyrna baseball players and dads to help the boys get stronger and more fit in the offseason. I decided that if I was going to bring him that I couldn’t really justify sitting around looking at my phone while he worked out, so I did the three-workout trial. To my surprise, and despite how bleepin’ sore I was, I really liked it right away and I was hooked. I’ve always been fit-ish and active by playing tennis, running and riding mountain bikes, so I was surprised by how ridiculously weak I was at first! Those first knee pushups and burpees were rough. It’s taken a lot of hard work, but I’m well into doing workouts with lots of standard pushups and plenty of other RX-level components. Outside of some light high-school basketball weight training and doing health club weight machines on and off a loooong time ago, I’ve never worked out with “real” weights. I’m surprised I like that component of the program as much as I do. I’m often frustrated in a motivational way that there are still some movements such as overhead squats and front rack exercises that I don’t yet have the shoulder and arm flexibility to do very well. That said, it has been so rewarding to feel and see the improvement since I first started. I’m so much stronger, more flexible and more fit. Plus, the variety of workouts keeps things interesting. The other thing I have been pleasantly surprised by is just how welcoming and encouraging everyone has been. Coaches Danny, Alandis, Nate and Gena really have created a culture that embodies the gym’s “all ages, all abilities” community of Crossfitters tagline, and coach Rachel is a fantastic addition to the team. We’ve made friends we run in to around town outside the gym, met a neighbor who lives just around the corner and love the camaraderie before, during and after workouts. And perhaps most of all I’m surprised that CFWC has become a full-family activity. My wife, Rachel, joined not long after our son and I did, and we all enjoy working out together. So, in conclusion, I think I’m surprised to say that being a member at CFWC is “fun,” but there you have it!

I've been going to CWC for a little over 6 months now and can easily say that I'm in the best shape since being forced to retire from college sports 5 years ago (forced via graduation). The coaches are the perfect blend of friendly, understanding and motivating. They will push you to your limits, but understand if you need to back off due to injury, inexperience, or if you just got back from a long vacation and are a bit out of shape (which is what I am currently). The facility is incredible, the fellow members are awesome, the music is great and loud enough for me to forget I'm almost drowning in my own sweat

Mom of 2, was a solo runner trying to get back in shape with two preschoolers and wanted to try something different because running was getting boring. Best decision of my life- great classes designed to make you fit and strong. You don't have to think of anything, just show up consistently and give a good effort. I didn't know anything about weight-lifting before showing up and they taught me everything in 1.5 years. Now I can do pull ups and rope climb, which my kids think is supercool. ?

Stop driving by and just do it! This is the place you want to be! There is something for everyone and if you want to get smoked there’s plenty of that too. Coach Danny breaks down the movements so even I look like a big time athlete. Coach Alandis makes sure you give max effort. And now Coach Rachel adds just the right amount of push and positivity! See you there??
