Horrible company! I invested in my store over 3 years ago and I’m still not opened! All I have to show for it is debt and a evicted location! I’m also waiting on my refund!!! Now they are ignoring my emails! Are you guys going to give me my money back?! No concern over my situation! You guys should have given me my money back months ago to allow me to purchase my inventory on my own if you guys had vendor issues! Now I have to vacate my current location, pay tons and tons of creditors as well as my landlord money.The media is telling the truth!!

Do not do business with this company they are liars. If you cannot afford to risk giving away thousands of dollars. Do not do business here! They knew where my credit was and that I had student loans took my money said I would get funded and by the time everything runs its course it will be after the amount of time they give you to request a refund! I still don't have a store and still don't have my money back and they refuse to give you your money even when they know you cant get the loan!
Their response: misrepresentation yea it is bc that’s what they did to me misrepresentation and lied!!! they have a rating of 3.6. is everyone lying? Please explain BSI lending group, how they send an email saying my funding package approved see photos I got receipts. And I want to make sure no other single mother gets conned, like I did by these scam artist!!! Look at my past reviews, I give credit where credit is due! Giving 1 star was being generous they deserve nothing! Then to come on here and still lie and not even attempt to make it right shows even more about these ppl character!

They ARE the experts in this industry. So glad I didn't follow my initial instincts to do my store on my own. Once I had received all of my products, they set my store up in less than 2 days. No way I would have been able to do that. Periodt !

They must be asking their employees to write those positive reviews. Ain't no way anyone that has gone through the BSI process will write or say anything positive about them. I know at least 4 store owners that never got their rest of their funds back from BSI. Yes, they will open the store for you because they want to make the money but will never send you a summary of everything. If you think, I am hating on another black business. Go ahead and go through the process. And I look forward to reading your negative reviews about them. That should tell you why Professor Devin chooses not to do radio or tv interviews because he knows he is defrauding his own black folks that he claims that he is helping.

Requested a refund in December of 2021 as I do not have a contractural obligation with BSI. Amongst a slew of other issues. My credit was destroyed during the funding process and I was discarded since all avenues had been exhausted. BSI was supposed to issue my refund in June of 2022 at the latest - per their deadline. This has not happened yet. My team and I have been overly patient. BSI has ceased all communications with us as of September 2022. Clearly indicating that they do not plan to uphold the agreement we have on file. We are escalating this issue to the appropriate entities, and will continue to demand payment. This issue will not go away. We are not operating on your time or convenience. This issue is time sensitive and should be handled as such.Edit: Before you consider going into business with BSI. Take a look at their report on the Bad Business Bureau’s website first. You will see our complaint, as well as others. Also, research how many court proceedings they have been involved in as well - It’s public record.

I didn't think I would qualify for funding due to credit issues. But BSI worked with me to straighten it out AND get me funding. I'm very excited to be on a track to get my beauty supply store up and opened and realize a dream!

BSI is legit! If you SLOW down and read the funding agreement all of the terms are clearly stated. Also ,when you start the process they tell you up front that the process is going to take a while. And YES they do work on a calendar system, but if you schedule a time for them to call you back they will. I recommend BSI for the first time beauty supply store owner, because without proper guidance you can and will go out business. And there is a difference between spending money and investing money, BSI is a great investment.

Their determination and eagerness to help others own their own beauty supply store is just amazing. Not only do they offer you a store, but they also offer marketing and retail training. They even go as far as helping you set up your stores. They know what they’re doing, all are very well educated. Such a blessing coming across a company like this.
