All I can say is “beware”. Claimed to have put a rebuilt transmission in. Starting noticing possible slipping issues prior to the end of the “so called warranty”. Brought the car back to shop reluctantly, and I was then told that it was out of the warranty time and mileage and that it would be “at least another $1500 to look at and fix the problem. He also told me that “sometimes the gears go bad”. Car is running worse than it did before I brought it to them. Literally less than a year since the initial repair. My advise, go somewhere else.

Atlas Transmission was referred to me by a previous customer. Going with this company was the best decision I made dealing with my son vehicle. Everyone else was telling me it was the transmission, kept telling me I need a new car if I was going to get a transmission. I want to THANK Atlas Transmission!!! THANK YOU!!!Services: Transmission

I,was very happy with the truthfulness of there completion date the first time that I dropped my 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD 2500. I was told that I had a big motor in my truck and he told me that it would be 3,970 for a 2003 . My truck started to hesitate in drive I returned the truck last Tuesday and I picked it up today.and it was riding good,I ran a few errands and went home. I came out later and put it in reverse and it hesitated again. That means I have to return it again tomorrow. I am a realtor and I have to have transportation. I spent the money that I did to avoid paying for rental cars.

My parents took their car from Lincoln Mercury Car Dealership to Atlas Transmission thinking that they would save some money by getting some transmission repairs there instead of the dealership towards the end of October 2020. It was the worst decision that they ever made. The car stopped with the transmission blinker on on Memorial Drive. After picking up my parents, I had a tow deliver their car back for service. They took their car back a total of three times. Finally they said that they couldn't fix it. I had another tow truck take the car back to the dealership at Lincoln Mercury off of Cobb Parkway. They are still trying to figure out what Atlas Transmission did to it. My parents have been without a car for two weeks. Don't try to save money by taking your car to Atlas Transmission 6900 Mableton Pkwy, Mableton, GA. It was the worst decision they ever made and the final result will be a more expensive repair since it's back at the dealership worse off than before. It's a mess. 11.04.2020

On 8/3/2020 I drove my 2012 Chevy express van to Atlas transmission to have them check out the issue of why my transmission would stall sometimes when changing into forth gear on the expressway. I also had to address the previous issue with them installing a flywheel on 12/23/2019 in which I told the owner that it was recommended to purchase a flywheel from the dealer because it is a common problem in that vehicle and the aftermarket flywheel do not work well and the issue will return and the dealer part is more durable with a warranty. He assure me that he would purchase a dealer flywheel and install it and service my transmission. He charged 1,039.00 on 12/23/2019. On 6/19/ 2020 I stopped over to atlas transmission talk to the owner told him that the ticking noise was back he said no problem bring it in another time he had a lot of vehicles in the shop at the time and he couldn't get to it. After making a couple of trips I told the owner to call me when he had available time to change the flywheel because the ticking noise was not as loud as it was in the beginning. Some time had passed and on 8/3/2020 I arrived with the new issue. I was told that the transmission needed to be rebuilt by Atlas and he would change the flywheel. After discovering he did not purchase a flywheel from the dealer I decided to purchase it and have them to install it.The owner called me on 8/6/2020 told me my vehicle was ready I arrived 8/7/2020 9:30 am. I noticed that it was hesitating to go in reverse and forward he said just go ahead and drive it at that point I had already returned my rental vehicle and was dropped off. After driving around for four hours it started to get worse I return back to the shop took the owner on a test drive and on the way back to the shop the transmission completely stop pulling. The shop was closing up and it was Friday evening and the owner said Monday morning they would pull the transmission back out and see what is the problems, but my question to him was if you replace to all new parts like you said it shouldn't have been a problem. After thinking it over all weekend and using my judgement I decided not to give them a opportunity to touch my vehicle again and make matters worse. I drove my vehicle there not had it towed and when getting it back it was frustrating and just ridiculous for my vehicle to operating the way it was after driving around for 4 hours. If this company would have fix my vehicle correct the first time I should have not had a problem in 4 hours of driving around.Monday 8/10/2020 I called roadside assistance to pick up my van and had it towed (ECHOLS TRANSPORT & RECOVERY) to The Wright Transmission. On 8/13/2020 I received a call that my van was ready I picked it up the shop owner said that 3-4 gears where burned up I asked was the parts in the transmission new he said the only thing that he see was new is the flywheel. The van is running great thanks to The Wright Transmission.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy! 3 months ago, I got my transmission control module replaced in my truck, which they overcharged my for ($1700 total), now 3 months later I need a whole new transmission! Take your chances here if you want!

Same owner ( Sunny )and rebuilder for 25 years or more. What I learned has carried me through my career. Good to do business with... Michael Scott Johnson.......
