2 days after a simple oil change, I noticed my truck running a little rough and the oil pressure a little low. I checked the oil level and it was over a court low period how can you mess up the only thing you're supposed to do to the truck?

I was hoping to have my truck back by the time I wrote this review, however we are going on almost three months with no end in sight. I have already referred one friend to another Chevrolet down the road and I hope I can save one more person from the absolute nightmare we have been dealing with.
In October of 2021 we bought a brand new 2021 Chevy Silverado truck. The finance guy sold us this "wonderful" bumper to bumper platinum extended warranty that we paid around $4,000.00 for. Here's what they don't tell you: your extended warranty only covers a rental for 5 days while your vehicle is being fixed. You will have to pay this upfront and if for any reason your vehicle takes longer than 5 days, Maxie Price does not and will not offer you a loaner. You will also not get your reimbursement from your rental until your vehicle is fixed and the paperwork is filed. Your extended warranty will also not cover a vehicle that is close to yours if you drive anything over a small SUV. You have a $35 a day limit. So if you drive a truck, you will not get a truck in return.
On June 13th of this year we dropped our truck off at Maxie Price thinking it could possibly be the torque converter or transmission issue. We come to find out it's a transmission issue. Our first service advisor (I will not mention his name because he no longer works there) treated us as if we were incompetent, did not give direct answers, and got our information mixed up many of times. After about a month and a half of going back and fourth with said service advisor we were transferred to Ryan Brickmann the service manager. Ryan has contacted us one time since then and that was to let us know he was taking over our file and he would contact us within a week to give us an update. We have not personally heard from him since. We have not gotten any answers or call backs and have had to personally go up there and show our face to get an accurate update. We went over two months paying for a vehicle and not having a vehicle to drive while Maxie Price offered no loaner or option to trade in or buy back our truck. While I understand we are going through our extended warranty, Maxie Price sold us this extended warranty and does not stand behind it or take care of their customers. Finally, we went and talked to the general manager about getting a rental as our daughter was starting school and my husband runs a business. Thankfully he did agree. However, I do not think we should have to go this long or even go that far to get taken care of. When I went to pick up the loaner, Ryan Brinkmann knew we were there as he had our paperwork and not once stopped by to shake my hand and apologize or acknowledge the situation we are dealing with. Then, WE found our own transmission, had Maxie Price verify with our extended warranty that they would accept an after market transmission. Extended warranty agreed and we were finally supposed to proceed. That was two weeks ago. I called our new service advisor Santiago for an update, yesterday 8/28/24 and he informed me that the transmission they went to go pick up was the wrong one and now we are back on the waiting list. They did not call and let us know, inform of us of this change or anything. To say we are displeased and unsatisfied with the service we have received would be an understatement.

For starters it took an hour and a half for a scheduled service. Colonial who I have used for years is in and out in 30-40 minutes always. I do not like dealing with a different service advisor every time I come in. The biggest issue, outside the time frame was that I had just was hand washed my Pearl white truck prior to my service appt. and my truck comes in from the shop with mud slung all over both sides of the truck! My service advisor offered a wash but I was already extremely late for another appt. The simple disrespect for my truck by the shop mechanic was unacceptable period. It has taken me a long time to be able to decide to use the service dept. at Maxie Price after a disastrous attempt to buy a new vehicle from here. We have family members we sent up recently to purchase a new vehicle and it seemed to go well. But as of my recent service, I believe we are ALL DONE with Maxie Price. I guess I will have to order my new truck from Hendricks.

My wife and 4 month old took her vehicle for service. Upon completion, my wife had to walk the parking lot with a baby in a car seat to find the vehicle. It should have been pulled around to the front for her.

Steve and Phil have been taking care of me and my vette since 2006. These guys are the greatest so now I bring my silverado to the store. I love in cobb Co but it's definitely worth the drive. Phil, Steve and Maxie have always made me feel valued as a customer and a friend. Great environment.

I called to schedule a 45k service. I dropped the truck off on a Sunday and made sure to write 45k service on the key envelope. The next evening I called to check the status and had found out it had been done for several hours yet not one call from anyone to inform me. I go the following day to pick it up and find out all that was done was an oil change and tire rotation. I advised the service writer that it appeared they forgot a few things from the 45k service. He asked if I wanted to leave it again. I said no, make an appointment so I can get in and out without waiting long. It was scheduled for the following morning. I showed up and asked the service writer why a transmission fluid change was listed on the email reminder when it isn’t included in the service schedule. He said “that’s the way I’ve always done it”. I told him just to change the external filter only and not the fluid just as it says in the service schedule. He said it would take 7 quarts of fluid for the external filter. This was a blatant lie. That filter holds a half quart at most. I told him again that I didn’t want the fluid changed. He went back to the shop and said they’ve already drained it. I spoke with the service manager and they waived the fluid cost. Three hours later, the truck is ready, I pay and leave. I looked at the receipt when I got home to see what was actually done only to find out they still didn’t complete the 45k service. They replaced the transfer case fluid with a cheap auto parts store brand and not GM fluid. Why else would I bring it to a dealer? The engine air filter was never replaced, nor the cabin air filter. As I got out of the truck I noticed oil on the tan leather door panel. I was furious at this point. I looked underneath to see if they had even changed the external transmission filter or cleaned up. There is oil everywhere underneath where they drained filters and fluids and never even attempted to clean it up. It’s all over the frame, torsion bars, body mounts, transmission pan, transfer case, it’s everywhere. I brought it in clean and expected for your technicians to do a professional job but clearly that’s too much to ask much less to have the correct services performed.

Service dept treats the customers like they are a burden and waste of their time. I have to call for updates, never can get an answer as you are only allowed to talk the person that greets you the first time, (they must be paid on commission)! When you do get someone it “I’ll call you back” and the NEVER do!!
If you buy a car from Maxie, don’t waste your time with a warranty or service agreement that locks you into using their service dept. Save yourself from a future headache and frustration with “Customer No Service”!
