There are some negative reviews that are reviewing the wrong store. This store is always open on time and has never refused service to anyone. There is also no one named tanz working there. Please check the address of the store you are reviewing as it negatively impacts the new workers that took over this store location.

Proud resident in the community for 17 years, it saddens me to write this review. Store didn’t open until 2pm today. You cannot prohibit our services because our children refuse to zip there jackets. You cannot mandate or compel us to zip up our jackets to receive services. That is discriminatory You cannot hinder services. The black woman with orange hair cannot raise her voice at customers with conducting dialogue for two years encounter this service. We are the customers. THIS IS BY FAR RIDICULOUS.

Been a resident in the neighborhood for 11 years ; This is by far the worst dollar general. The employees are extremely disrespectful the service here is never helpful, young black woman name tanz used vulgar language towards my grandchild yelled at him for having his jacket unzip when he’s not compelled to wear his jacket a certain way for employment satisfaction. This is highly absurd.

The stores absolutely filthy. Rude employees you can't get up and down the aisles. Empty shelves absolutely filthy will not be back!

I'll be honest. I never had a problem with this DG until today. The lady ringing people up had an attitude that I wasn't expecting. I was fine with waiting for the self checkout but she was like "you want me to ring you up or what?" And I figured fine, she's already open and put my stuff up on the counter, asking how her day was and she tells me she basically had freezer stuff to put up and I was wasting her time. ? So obviously I wasn't expecting her to be so rude. They're other, nicer Dollar Generals in my area so I won't be coming back to this one. Because I know people have bad days but you don't need to take it out on your customers.

Went in the store it was in its usual mess with empty shelves and boxes all over the place. Go to the register to check out, and the only option was self check out. I was paying with cash so had to stand there for 5 mins waiting for someone to come to the register. While waiting was having a conversation with my brother that the manager there had said they were not hiring “because she had enough people already”. Clearly she doesn’t have anywhere near enough people. She herself seems more concerned with smoking than actually working. Anyway, she got a complete attitude when she butted in to our conversation. I told her her attitude was not necessary and she got an even bigger attitude. As we were leaving she had a cigarette in her hand walking out in front of us. I asked her name because I was going to report her, she ignored me the first two times I asked her name. The third time she turned with her fist balled up at me and said, “My name is Candace and I don’t have an attitude!” I informed her I was reporting her and took a picture of her standing in the front door of the store wide open smoking. Wow! Just wow! I will not go back to the store until she’s gone. I have reported it to dollar general as I felt threatened by her. I really hope they handle it. My advice is avoid this store and drive a little further to walnut Grove!

When I got to the store, the cashier was outside, smoking a cigarette. I ran in to get one item, when I got to the register, she was nowhere to be found. I tried to self check out, but the self check out register was secured and needed a password. I heard her say you can check yourself out or if you need me let me know. By then I was done so I walked out.

Store full of customers only 1 employee. Who is outside with her friends laughing and smoking. Even after I ask for help. Place sucks. No inventory either. Empty shelves everywhere.
