Did NOT want to even give 1 star. I am a true HT and BL girl! Specifically for Disney merch. However after coming to this store for years, I can truly say I hate this store. I literally ONLY use this store because I live close to it and it's closest for pickup for my online orders (ship to store is free.) I am sick of them using a knife to open orders! It's against the law to open someone elses mail! Just because it has the shipping address for the store doesn't mean it's their right to open packages! STOP THAT! If your policy is for the package to be opened before leaving then let the CUSTOMER (the person it's addressed to) open it! Furthermore, the mexican/white chick who claims to be a manager is extrememly NASTY! When you order a package online, if the 25% coupon is not in there the store has to give you one! Trust me, I have called customer service several times on this because this store is always trying to hold back what's due to customers! FURTHERMORE, this mexican/white "manager" chick has ruined several of my packages because she opens them with a damn knife! I am sick of her and I will get her name next time I am in there and she's there. She rather put sensors on merch than to help the customer. I am tired of being nice to her only to get a nasty attitude BUT then that comes from the top! I'm guessing this girl is an ASSISTANT manager because when I demanded to speak to a manager she claimed to be it but went and got the black girl, short hair and lazy eyes. She's ppretty rude too. I think she used to have purple and pink hair too. When expressing concerns, she looks at you literally crazy, with a "i don't care" look. Yall better get right in that store and rmember it's customers like me that's spent thousands of $$$$ that's even keeping yall with a job. If you don't like working directly with people, WORK FROM HOME! Sheeesh!

Walked inside, no customer service. Employee did not speak, did not ask us if we needed any assistance, did not acknowledge that we were in the store at all.

I have to say I appreciate Hot Topic trying to balance selling provocative stuff with realizing they are in a mall where kids and families shop. I think they generally do a very good job walking the line carefully. I like that this is a place where they accept employees as themselves and don't try to make everyone fit in a cookie cutter mold.

I have loved hot topic since I was very young !! The atmosphere, the items, and just how I feel when I'm there. It's dark, and give a real goth/emo vibe (which I love). I found these bracelets, and got them for my husband and myself to wear. Hopefully he will, and won't break it the first day back at work. ?

Terrible customer service. A woman with pink and black braids was very rude to me and didn't help me AT ALL. And this isn't the first time this has happened. If this is how your employees treat your customers then you won't see me again.
