Came in tonight to use my $5 off $25 which was already clipped on my app. Waited in line for 30 min while a young man was counting 300.00 then needed approval from Rita that was outside talking on the phone. Rita then decided to jump on the register because the older gentleman behind me was complaining the young man was taking too long to count. When she ring me up my total was 28.71 and kiosk started digital coupon accepted but the 5.00 was not coming off. Usually the people that are familiar with the digital coupons know some times they have issues and would override. Rita was very dismissive and defensive with an attitude. Less than helpful and stated it’s not her job to know about these coupons and threatened to call the police because I questioned her about her role. Then replied she didn’t care if I left a bad review she has another job. Very nasty and unprofessional.

Store # 20540 on rock chapel rd. The manager here is very rude. She is rude to you if you ask her a question and is never pleasant . The other workers here are nice. I had the worst experience here today and I have been coming to this store for 4 years . I miss the old management but now I will be complaining at the corporate and c-suite level of Dollar General because you can’t have store managers that are rude, unhelpful and passive aggressive to your paying customers I think the store manager now is Aubrey or Ashley of she gave her real name because she had no name tag on and refused to give her district managers information.

Last time I was there, the lady was rude as hell and was rushing people out the door at 10 minutes till 10 and already had the door locked. Just now, I was there and I was in line for about 15 minutes and they just came to everybody and said "stores closed". I used to work for a security company that installed the cameras for Dollar generals and I've never seen a store brand so poorly.

This Dollar General has some good and terrible customer service. Today I experienced by far the worst customer service in history. The person checking me out was on her phone while ringing me up. She was very loud and cussing not to mention I wasn't the only one in line. This is not the first time I have experienced this with this particular person. She is extremely rude and honestly I'm completely turned off from patronizing this location it's really sad. There is another young lady that works at this location and she is very friendly and nice. Unfortunately I don't see her often enough smh. I'll just start going to the location on the other end of Rock Chapel. If that call was that important just step away ma'am and handle your business! Just Ghetto! I can't and I won't! I would've left one star but I took the nice lady into consideration. Train your employees this is unacceptable!!Until next time SYOY!

Why be open when the shelves are always empty product placed in the wrong spot all the time will not honor because of there negligence the lady with the blonde hair needs to be fired no one is never at the front check out just a waste dollar general needs to do better or this location will be next to shut down

This place has really gone down hill today is the straw that broke the camels back I can understand if this date said like December 22 it will be just a tad bit understandable but to have product on your shelves that has expired almost three months ago is completely unacceptable and absurd my child ate this and instantly doesn’t feel well I work in retail as well this just shows me that the people that work there do not care and that they don’t have a manager checking up behind them to make sure things like this don’t happen this is not the only time I have gotten expired items from this location but best believe this is the last time I will ever shop at this location again do better this can cause serious harm to someone and you better hope that my child is ok because if not yal better count your days
