I took my lawnmower to get repaired on 8/3/24. I explained to the employee the issue that I was having. I was told that I had to pay 35.00 for it to be repaired so i did so. I was told it would not take long to fix. After calling on several occasions and going to the store twice in which I was told that there was a delay with the part, I was told that it was finally fixed on 8/13/24. As I went to get the lawnmower I was told to come to the front to pay the remaining balance. I said what remaining balance I was unaware of a remaining balance and don't you think you should've have told me about the balance the 5 times I called. I was told I couldn't get the lawnmower until I paid a balance of 93.08. I said of I would've known it was going to be that much I would've just came back to get it without it getting repaired. The only explanation I was given is that they don't know how much it would cost to fix it until it's fixed which makes no sense. I called the corporate office. They told me that everything is at the discretion of the store since it's a franchise. I told Ace Hardware corporate that if we're willing to attach your name to a store like this I will never come to any of your stores again. I definitely wouldn't recommend this store or any Ace Hardware for that matter now that I know how Ace Hardware does business.
JUST SAY NO TO ACE. THEY ARE NOT THE PLACE FOR THE HELPFUL HARDWARE FOLKS.

Absolutely terrible.
Was impressed with the stock upon arrival until my experience
They have stihl chainsaw chaps in stock on shelf priced at $208.00. On their website it's $180.00 and in stock. Guy tells me to checkout on website to honor price and when I go to check out the website says out of stock. Shop with caution. Douglasville Ace Hardware has them for $130 after researching.

Ordered parts 3 weeks ago that were supposed to only take 2 days for shipping and then they said there was no recognition of even order in my parts and then I look over on the counter and see my slip and I said well there's my slip and then they're like well we still don't know where your parts are so this is the worst place to buy any type of lawn mower parts. The guy dealing with me didn't even know what the ignition coil was or a carburetor landscapers beware

These guys have 40lbs of stuff packed in a 20lb bag. They have a larger variety of tools than most big box stores. I go to have my grill propane filled so I don't have to use the exchanges.

Worst place on Earth ? Took a blower in for repairing, after 2 months my blower had not even been touched pick it up to take it else where and the only way they said I could get my deposit back was Only if I bought the same blower which was way over $700. Definitely a great selling tactic ??? In the managers world. Looking for a terrible time go here and they’ll be ready to disappoint you and lie to you.

First time experience was terrible. I took my chainsaw to them to see what was going on with it, and they would call me to let me know the following day. After 6 days of waiting, and still nothing. I went down to the place and ask what was going on with it. They didn’t do anything at all and said they where busy. From the looks of it, everyone was standing around. I would be careful if you decide to use this place.
Getting my chainsaw fixed somewhere else?

I tried to return a ladder that i had purchase (within 5 days) from this store.
They refused to let me return it , they said they cannot give refunds , the ladder was in perfect shape , i did not use it.
