When Johnstone was the Meyer group it was different. Since the ware group got this location it’s been sketchy. I was treated very poorly on Wed when I came into the store. I tried to call to speak to someone higher up and got the run around. I been a Johnstone customer ever since I got in to hvac over 20yrs ago in VA. I was disrespected and it seems like customer service and professionalism isn’t a requirement. Deon needs a course in customer service. Listening to the customer to process their needs correctly. Also needs training on how certain equipment in the store is suppose to operate. Not only was my transaction difficult and long and drawn out with a lot of unnecessary verbage, I was threatened to not be able to make a purchase, based off feelings. When I was conducting businesses. At no time was I loud, aggressive, or out of line. I spoke facts and knew exactly what I was talking about concerning my purchase of a thermostat that was defective internally from the manufacturer. I felt insulted and belittled. After I had to bring back something that was defective wasting time on the job I was working. Then the lack of leadership or Nobody assisting to make the situation better. I tried to contact several people for assistance so the tape can be reviewed and see how I was treated and corrections made. You shouldn’t have to feel awkward or uncomfortable coming in a store. Now I do t even want to go in that store anymore because of the unprofessional way they conduct business. And Jeremy was there and seemed as if he was bothered too. Please review the footage when I made the purchase the conversation that was given, and when I returned the hassle I was given as well, over a 30$ thermostat.

Tools to expensive making 30% to 40 % on hard working techs who support your business and has for over 25 years not my best experience with Johnstone but it is what it is.

Went to get a TXV, even though they didn’t have the exact one, of of the awesome fellas there built me one and answered all my questions with a great upbeat attitude. Cool and knowledgeable guys.
