“2/5/24 - Updated Review. I think the service department is back!!!!! I was able to seen on my appointment time. I didn't have to wait a crazy number of hours for a oil change. I think they now have a new crew in the back working and it shows. I am in Love with John Thornton again. This is my favorite car dealership but the service department was holding it back. Now that it has been address, Guys, you can come get your new vehicle now. I will be looking for my 16 year old daughter vehicle and this is my number one stop. Thanks you Kirk and everyone else that played a part in getting the service department back to its normal quality of service. I'm giving it a 4 star because the one representative that over the oil change when you check-in, they need to find him another position. That job is not for him.I would recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle from John Thornton. I have purchase 4. The service department really needs some work. This was a good place to take your vehicle before Covid. Since, it has really struggle to come back post Covid. I made an appointment because 1 tire was reading low psi. The tire had a nail. I was at the dealership for 3 hours to get a patch on a tire. That is way to long for anyone to wait on something as simple as a patch. I could really understand if they are just having a bad day. Maybe a tech didn't show for work. But this is every time we take our vehicle in for service.”

He cared about our needs while also providing insight into what options we had without pressuring us into stretching the budget we had. Also, what other place do you see the manager of the facility taking matters into his or her own hands to clean up water so customers don't trip and fall? I know that seems silly, but when do you ever see a suit and tie taking even the smallest (but incredibly important tasks) on themselves? Inspect what you expect - that kind of pride speaks volumes at a dealership.”
