We traveled to Lincolnton to enjoy the Graves Mountain Rock Dig and Swap. The Graves Mountain Rock Dig and Swap occurs every October and April with individuals traveling hundreds of miles to share experiences, food, fun and the love of rock hounding. Having never been to this small town, I relied on word of mouth to locate this lodging. When we arrived, I loved seeing the beautiful swing near the front entrance. It gave the hotel a more antebellum vibe and highlighted the hotel design! At check-in, we were disappointed to learn that there were no breakfast options on-site but there are food options nearby available by vehicle. Also, would have liked to have seen Cullers Inn partner with the Graves Mountain Rock Dig and Swap event to offer discounted blocks of rooms. Happy to note the staff was available late and highly responsive! We were happily surprised by the large and spacious accommodations. When we entered our room, there was a sitting area with two nice sized armchairs around a medium table and two plush queen beds. The desk in the room was outfitted with a professional business chair with a microwave and hotel refrigerator nearby. While the TV was not high definition, the availability of channels was more than sufficient for my family's needs. We were very pleased to see additional bedding available and stocked in-room for our cold-sensitive relatives. We thoroughly enjoyed the outside covered patio area with picnic tables. Especially when learning from the amazing people from the Graves Mountain Rock Dig and Swap. I can honestly say this visit has been a heartwarming lifetime unforgettable experience for my family.Nearby activities: Graves MountainFood & drinks: None available on-site. Ice maker on-site!

No frills motel that is immaculate. The owners take pride in their property and it shows. I wish the bed was a little less firm but it doesn't affect the value you're getting. Will stay here again.

This was the worst place. Run Down. Can hardly move today because of the beds. Will never stay here again highly don’t recommend. Smells like marijuana even in non smoking rooms. Found other peoples left overs in the microwave and fridge. Ants in our bathroom along with black mold on the shower curtain. Do not waste your money here.

Older hotel convenient to the Bluegrass Festival we attended. The room was comfortable and clean. I would have liked it to have a hair dryer.

The hotel is older but well kept overall and the staff was beyond friendly. My issues were with with the fact that I could tell our room was merely gone over in the cleaning process(bottom of the bench/luggage rack was covered in dust), the adjoining room must have been a smoking room because our room wreaked of marijuana when we checked in, the mattresses were loud, old, and beyond in need of being replaced on both of the beds, the phone did not work nor was it replaced when I called the front desk to let them know, and there was no stopper in the bath tub for me to bathe my child.

The rooms are older but extremely clean and comfortable. We have been in two rooms and they are spacious and have decent sized refrigerators and a small microwave. Staff has been wonderfully accommodating and helpful. There are several great places to eat within walking distance (highly recommend the Habanero Mexican Grill, The Chicken House, and Papas Pizza). There are many quaint shops to explore, also within walking distance, and a cute historical park behind the inn. This Inn was a welcome surprise for great accommodations at a great price. We will stay again the next time we are in the are.

This is easily the best place to stay anywhere in the area. The room was spotless, the bathroom was completely perfect and the room smelled great. Plus there is a wicked comfy dad chair next to the bed.

I’m a rock hound that digs at Graves Mountain and Diamond Hill. This Inn is fantastic. Sam is both kind and helpful. The rooms are big clean and affordable. I like to cook my own food and they steer up a carport with two huge picnic benches and a charcoal grill. One night is was pouring raining and I cooked my meal and stays totally dry! There is an ice machine right at the stairs and it was chock full of ice. There is a laundromat right across from the inn and a gas station at the corner. I will be back!!!

Rooms are quiet and professional cleaned.Cons... There is a laundry mat and carwash next door where cars play loud music in the morning time some days that echos in the rooms when you're trying to sleep and relax. During the day also..The management may allow you to visit the Lincoln Motel where you could sleep during the day if you're checked in properly.. especially if you have worked nightshift and you are looking for comfort and a relaxed experience.

This inn is fantastic. I am a rock hound and dig at Graves Mountain and Diamond Hill. Sam is both kind and helpful. He even set up a carport for us to cook and barbecue under. One day it was a total downpour and I was totally dry. The rooms are big clean and fairly priced. I loved the ice na hind at the staircase. There is a laundromat right next to the Inn. Very convenient

Hair in the beds, room was old & crusty. We asked for clean sheets & was told he couldn't access them. Asked for a better room & it looked worse than the first! Very disappointed! When we stayed here a few years ago it was always nice, now, it's gross!

I have stayed here three times. The first two were decent stays, however the latest one was not great at all. All of the non-smoking rooms were booked, so this time we had to take a smoking room, and it was definitely not something I would do again. The room smelled strongly of cigarettes, and it was difficult to breathe in there. There were ash holes in the curtains and burn marks on the edges of the tub. Two roach bugs hanging out in the back of the toilet which stopped up twice, and the sound of leaking water from above us. I would definitely suggest against staying in the smoking building.
