Dr. Gunadeva is awesome! Knowledgeable, helpful, thoughtful, does not rush you, really listens to and considers your concerns - everything you want in a primary care doc. The clinic staff is also very helpful and friendly. In the Atlanta area it’s hard to find a good primary care clinic because they all seem to get bought out by Emory, Piedmont, or etc., but at least for now Gwinnett Clinic is one of the few clinics where you can still call directly to your doctor’s office instead of a call center/offsite rep and don’t have to wait weeks for an appointment, but it’s also big enough to have the convenience of multiple providers, multiple locations, and so forth.

I thought I found a good place close to home not crowded. My first time was ok . I had already had a full check up so I didn’t need one I just needed to refill my prescriptions. Well Dr G or whatever her real name is decided to tell me I should schedule and appointment for a full check up. I did make an appointment but then decided not to go because it was really a waste of time. I called to cancel my appointment. Well when I went back a couple of months later ,I was called disrespectful by the Doctor she was nasty and didn’t care about me just the money from the insurance company! Lady you will never see me again your rude attitude is disgusting. I treated you with respect. I won’t tolerate the unprofessional behavior. Do you really think I would let YOU give me a Pap smear ?

They are usually available on short notice or for walk-ins. They have lots of In-House specialists that take the same insurance.

Never coming back. I was in the area and needed to get tested for Covid while here so I looked up the closest facility. The online portal would not let me get past a certain page to complete the forms beforehand and when I arrived I was told they could not see me. Like that was it, no alternative, so I suggested paper forms which seemed to not even cross anyone's mind. I was kept outside of the building the entire time because I was suspected of having Covid (no questions were asked beforehand of exposure or symptoms, I just asked for an appointment to get tested). They swabbed my nose for Covid and I asked to be swabbed for flu and strep too just in case. I tested negative for all three but was told to isolate and treat this like I had Covid because they wanted me to come back and test again in a few days, certain that it's a false negative. I did. Came back and they asked me the same questions I answered the other day like height, weight, do you smoke? All while sitting in my car, again. They swabbed my nose and throat. I tested negative. They invite me to come inside to figure out what I was sick with and the NP spoke to me for about 5 minutes before walking out and calling me on my cell phone to finish the exam. I found that strange. They were certainly taking precautions which I understand but they way they handled and treated me didn't feel like any other doctor's office I've been to. I'd suggest making up for the non physical contact with plain politeness, which they all seemed to lack.

Ms. Etzkorn is a wonderful nurse practitioner! She took the time and care to fully listen to me and asked plenty of follow up questions to gain an accurate diagnosis. She gave detailed instructions regarding my new medication and gave me ample opportunity to ask questions and be involved in my plan of care. Highly recommend!

I would say that Dr. Patel is a very sweet and caring person. He patiently listens to all your concerns and answers your questions with explanations and reasoning. He makes sure you have a good understanding of your treatment and makes sure you have his contact information so if you have a problem you can reach him.

The gold star is only for the nurse who was nice during the procedure. Otherwise extremely disrespectful doctor. Definitely did not care about the patient's emotions or needs. Ready to get out of there. Will not be returning to this clinic.

I was told that the clinic services would start at 9:00am. I had my appointment setup for 11:00am. I went early due to traffic congestion. Fortunately for me I was there before the time, and the staff rendered service to me immmediately. I left happy and rewarding.

When I moved to Georgia over ten years ago, I needed to find a new PCP. I found Dr.G and I’ve been going to her every since. Every year I can’t wait to go for my yearly physical just to see her. She is Awesome!! Oh and the office manager Nell West is the best!! I would highly recommend.

I really like the nurse practitioner Lora, I don't have any problems with the physicians at this practice but I despise being asked for a $25 deposit for Gwinnett clinic to hold until I come to my next doctor's visit in 3 months, if I am asked again I will probably go somewhere else to find a neurologist.

The staff is really what makes this place special. If you call or come in early in the morning, it can be very busy. Please be patient with them, like most medical offices, you have to give them some time to settle in before they can assist you. My last experience was very positive; I called in the morning and was able to get an appointment that same morning. The front desk is always so friendly. And the nurses are always so warm and observant. Thank you for all your hard work!
