“I have been a member of the credit union for 20+ years. (Formerly GEMC Credit Union) I was a little reluctant when I heard that they were changing their name. The customer service is always amazing. Everyone is very helpful and addresses your needs in a timely manner. They care about their members and it gives you a sense of the banks many years ago with that small town feel. Nothing like the big name banks.”

“I had a hard time finding a credit union in the co-op shard branching network that would help me get get money to pay for a used car until I finally found MembersFirst. I wasn't sure what to do since there was a cash withdrawal limit but they helped me work out a plan to use a cashier's check and meet there to do the transaction, which I couldn't do elsewhere because of limits on shared branch cashier's checks.”

I haven’t received this kind of customer service in many years. They have earned a customer for life with us. Andre was the most helpful loan representative ever. “My husband and I walked in on a Thursday afternoon to open a savings and checking account. At first we signed up for the queue with a kiosk that had next to the waiting area. However, that did not appear to do anything. It worked out though because staff was very attentive and offered to assist us as soon as they were available. All of our interactions with staff were super easy and friendly. The process for opening a savings and checking account was also easy. The app appears to be easy to use and reliable. Special shout out to Evelina who was very enjoyable to work with!”

“Location: Courtland East Decatur entrance.My review is limited to the walk up ATM. They have a private room adjacent to the bank’s entrance. It’s accessible via your debit card. I felt really safe in the facility/room and in the area in general.”

“A month ago, I refinanced a recently purchased vehicle with GUCU. The banking transitioning is going very smooth and easy, thanks to Jessica D. She definitely represents the meaning of quality services and caring. Unfortunately, the transaction with the dealership (Hayes Ram in Gainesville), has been rough, but Jessica has gone above and beyond supportive throughout this process. This is my first experience with GUCU and I’m a new member. To be honest, this is probably my 3rd review I’ve ever posted in my life. I rarely do so unless my experiences went very HORRIBLY or very AMAZING. Jessica D. has definitely made an AMAZING mark with me. Thank you GUCU for having such an amazing employee! ????”

“Update on my last post about the experience I had when applying for a credit card with Georgia United the previous post was under S. Ridley. I received a phone call from the manager Brandon over loan services and he was actually on vacation with all of this happened and he apologized and it was definitely not handled in the correct manner. He took care of me and turned my secure card into a regular visa and refunded the money that had been on hold for several years for that card we also talked about a possible future personal loan. He told me that it was definitely not handled in the proper manner and he would be speaking to his team lead and his team to get them on the same Page and the same Accord as how to provide excellent customer service regardless of the situation. He made me feel like a valued Georgia United customer and promised that his goal was to make me feel that way and to see what he could do to fix the situation and turn it from a negative into a positive he definitely went above and beyond to do that. I appreciate him, Georgia United is lucky to have him and I will continue to do business with them as long as he is there. This had turned into a stressful situation and I'm very happy that he was able to turn that around. Thank you so much to Brandon and I definitely appreciate the excellent customer service that I did get from him to resolve this situation.”

“I would like to update my review from over the weekend. I should have waited until Monday when I could reach someone for clarification. In fact the $5.95/mo. fee for bill pay services can be waived it the member signs up for paperless statements, which is a reasonable exchange considering the cost for generating that paperwork these days when all other communication is by email anyway. Sorry for the misunderstanding :-(”

“I visited the Norcross branch and was greeted by Bonilla the branch manager as soon as I entered. She was friendly and when I told her I wanted to open an account she introduced me to the banker Jennifer who took the time to explain about the accounts ACU offers. She was very knowledgeable and the process was seamless. I will recommend ACU to friends and family for their good customer service.”

“I have scheduled appointment 11:00 AM. Leaving the house when i check reminder from the Bank if i have any conformation that i need to give at the Bank. I find out my appointment time is 10:00 AM. I have waited for this appointment for last four days. Before arriving to the Bank calling costumer service to get help with my appointment. If it is book for 10:00 AM already late. I was told to explain what happen my appointment at the Bank. Arriving at the Bank i was denied for my appointment told to make another one. I was not giving up on my appointment call costumer service two or three times leave a message to assistant branch manager EBONY RAMEY. She have make my DAY TO MOVE ON. THANKS AGAIN. She understood that we need service. Call back make me the same day appointment and give service we need. THANKS AGAIN.”
