My power went out late one night due to a large tree falling in my front yard. I called and they had someone out within an hour and power back on soon after. Couldn't have had a better experience.

My father just passed away. Sumter scrolls through Obituaries (which I called and verified this) and then takes my dad off of everything. My mom finds out with an email just three days after my father passed. So she cried and cried as she saw things come out of his name. Then they send a "condolences" card in the mail. Wow. Just wow. Fun fact: they changed things out of my dad's name based off of obituary instead of legal document (death certificate). This is not allowed. I will be posting this everywhere until everyone knows. This company has zero care.

Very Helpful when I reached out for a small amount of time to pay my bill....They do get quite expensive around first of winter and first of summer but at least they will try to help you during hard times!

money hungry I sit in the dark an still pay more for electricity than a car payment sure join sumter emc u will be paying for them a new truck monthly.run run away fast before u get caught in there trap and cannot move.non profit im sure they are balling why we are sweating afraid to turn on ac in 95+ degree weather break the monopoly bring in some competition lighten there fat wallets. concerned citizen of lee county ga .
