This vet was amazing! My sookie baby loved him. She was not feeling well and he took his care of her. He had a great personality and everyone was friendly even though I got there right close to closing time. They are n me in Leesburg I live in Douglas so I drive 2 hours to take my baby to this doctor. My mom recommended him because he was the DR for one of her babies. He will definitely be who we continue to use. His prices are cheaper than those in Douglas, Fitzgerald, Auburn, And Tifton as well. Within 3 days she was back to her normal self

The only good thing about this vet is one of the sweet ladies in the pharmacy, I’m convinced she’s one of the only people in there that actually works. We quite LITERALLY now only use this vet for my dog’s medication. All the front desk does is gossip anytime I’ve been in there. Maybe focus on work instead of gossiping about the type of man you like. My husband has taken 8 feral cats to another vet to be fixed, amazing how every one of them survived with zero issues but not the single one we took to Philema. Our husky also underwent surgery and we were told he made it fine to pick him up the next morning, we unfortunately also picked him up in an urn. One of the first doctor’s to see him misdiagnosed him but when my husband stated that to Dr. Greene, we were told that’s not his doctor. Seems to have a few complaints on the same doctor though.

I want to thank the staff and the Dr. for seeing a sick baby today without any hesitations. The Dr. was able to treat our baby and send her home with instructions and care, along with an antibiotic to help for the next few days.
Willow thanks all, along with his owner Brent. Your kindness was very much appreciated. ?
To further this review, after having to bring Willow back to the vets Dr. Laura Ford ran some test and X-rays, along with an ultrasound and the results, pancreatic cancer.
She and her wonderful, compassionate staff has been there for her and us every step to care for her and the tough decision to put her down so no more suffering for our baby. I, the mother of the owner, my son Brent has had the most difficult time and she has helped me with this as well. I can say without a doubt that we chose the BEST Veterinary Hospital.
Thanks to Dr. Laura Ford and staff for guiding us along the way, we know with our Willow that we made the right decision, along with GOD we have peace in knowing she is not suffering anymore, RIP WILLOW. ?

Had a sick baby and instead sending him to an specialist, vet tried to fix him knowing he was having kidney failure, we were only notified his kidney levels were high but were never told it was that bad. Vet didn't seem concerned and ask me to bring him 2 months later to re-check his levels which my baby was already extremely sick and had been under her care for a month and a half literally in and out. The last day I went to see this vet I was told by an assistant (not even the vet) that they couldn't do anything for my baby and that they referred me to an specialist. My question is why she didn't send me to an specialist a month before my baby's kidneys got in the worse shape? I got copy of all records and tests when I was sent to specialist and all blood records indicate possibly failure or chronic kidney disease and yet we were not notified about this. All she said was his levels were high. We had to put our baby to sleep 2 days after arriving to specialist. Specialist definitely agreed that we would've had more chances if we took him the previous month. They didn't understand either why we weren't referred earlier. Definitely would not be back to this office anymore. This was not the first time this vet try guessing on what do treat my baby with. He had allergies that got to the worse and we were trying a serum that she recommended and kept him for a whole year and a half. His poor body was completely blistered and a friend of mine saw him and recommended me to request them to give him cytopoint shot for him. And indeed he completely healed afterwards. I asked this vet why I wasn't given this shot as an option and her response was "we always try the least expensive options first " I was like really??? She saw him suffering then and never mentioned the freaking shot. ?? This last time she saw him suffering with the kidney issues and still didn't send him to the specialist on time so he could've a better chance to recover. Very poor decision skills with this vet. Also any time I called which were many while my baby was sick the last month and a half I would call asking for help and I could never get the vet on the phone. Not sure she was notified or not but I don't think we should struggle trying to communicate when it comes to the health of our babies. All this ordeal is been pricey and the higher price we paid was the life of our baby . :-(( all this between other times that we were not happy with the service we received. We’ve been with this vets office for too many years but not longer after the loss of our baby Blue. It definitely looks like the care and attention is worse since they got into the bigger place. Too busy to care properly for the fur babies.

I love the people at philema animal hospital. They are all very nice. After taking my two 5 month old kittens there. They called me at home just to see how they were doing. That's when I knew I had picked the right veterinarian. Plus they will take on wild animals. Wow!

THANK YOU PHILEMA ANIMAL HOSPITAL! I was able to get our cat to Hawaii with no problems. Your staff was able to get everything from blood work to Health Certificate completed for me. It was stressful enough getting onto the right pet friendly airline and handling that veterinarian part of it helped make the transfer practically seamless. You guys are awesome! Thank you!

We just moved to the area, and this was the only place that actually answered. We got in and the doctor was amazing!! Absolutely loved their service. They helped my fur babies when I didn't have anywhere else to turn. We will definitely be using them from now on!!
