I was set to move in on 10/2/2023 and upon arrival the place was disgusting. I had to delay my plans to bring my furniture to the apartment due to the floors being super dusty. The blinds were falling apart as two of the blinds fell to the floor and the agent just picked them up and hung them back up. The carpet on the stairs and all upstairs was filthy with carpet sheddings everywhere. The laundry room door was hanging off. The walls have writing all over them in the master bedroom. The apartment also smelled like cigarette smoke. I am very disappointed. They did have the Maintence guy come clean up later on 10/2/2023 however it should’ve been ready for me to move in. I paid a deposit and first rent equaling $1820 on 10/2/2023 at 9 am and came back at 630 pm and everything hadn’t been fixed yet. The Maintence guy attempted to fix the laundry room door but it’s still broken. I’m very dissatisfied. That’s too much money to pay to walk into a filthy apartment with broken things.

This is a honest review coming from a genuine household. Please save yourselves the trouble by not leasing an apartment from this property. We don’t ask for much from these property managers at all. But when your apartment has an awful bug infestation, that’s an huge problem. This has been the case for my household. An exterminator was supposedly sent to “spray” our apartment down, which required us to leave for a period of time. But the infestation has since then gotten worse. Nothing has been done about it. We also have this huge opening by our slide door, which floods our downstairs area with water every time it rains. AGAIN, nothing has been done about it. Our ceiling fan downstairs hasn’t been operating for months now. And mold also continues to grow in our bathroom. My s/o has sent numerous emails and called the front office repeatedly; as well as I. No response has been received. I feel like the employees definitely take advantage of the fact that my s/o is such a sweet person, so they’ll say anything that sounds good to coddle them, and the problem just sits and lingers. Maybe if we were the type of people to go to the office and raise hell everyday until the problem was fixed, the property would take our issues more serious. Our lease definitely will not be renewed.

Just a heads up please read your application thoroughly. they will not give you your deposit back after 72 hours of paying it. We have paid our deposit (was told the apartment wasn’t ready yet, when asked to see it first) and paid our other fees. We had to pay the deposit or we will loose the apartment. So we paid everything in October because we had a due date of 48 hours to get the money. Move in day was december 10th. We called every two weeks in November and ever week in December to ask can we still see the apartment before the move in date and got the same answer. So I called and ask for our deposit back December 9th and they said no they couldn’t And that I should have read the application carefully. So please read that application, cause they will not tell you about forfeiting the deposit. Lesson learned, I just didn’t want it to happen to any one else. Please look at the apartment first before paying the deposit regardless of the deadline they give you. Hope this helps…..

I’d recommend Greystone at Creekwood for several reasons. July 2022 will be four years as a resident and in four years I have had no issue that wasn’t taken care of very quickly. The apartments are spacious and nice and the grounds are kept beautifully. The environment is quiet enough if you are a retiree and just loud enough to enjoy the laughter of children at play from time to time. Great job Creekwood.

Moving into this community this week. Beth, the property manager, has been very helpful in my application and move in process. The apartment itself is nice and spacious, though the phase ones could use some general outside cosmetic updating, overall it seems pleasant. Looking forward to residing here!
