What a joke. Ya offer passport services, allowed us to make an appt on a Saturday then when we come say two different things and act as if we were inconvenience to you guys. Listen ladies, if you hate your job leave. Learn how to have customer service. We clearly made an appt for 9:45, came and for ya two say two different things “the clerk isn’t here” and “we don’t do it on Saturday” simply apologize for inconveniencing . Yet the workers wanna continue to argue back.

LAWRENCEVILLE MAIN POST OFFICE POOR CS;
There are 286 reviews and 1.9 stars, the lowest I have seen here on Google, as yet USPS Postmaster in Lawrenceville DO NOT CARE. They hire people with no customer service experience no education, and no manners, as long as they are black employees because they only hire black people to work not those who qualify for the job, it looks like this is a trend now, where there used to be if the manager was a white man always hired white employees, now looks like the other way around, this is not right. In other words, IT IS
DISCRIMINATING. it does not matter whether it is white, black, yellow or whatever it is, you need to hire qualified employees.
I have been going to this post office for more than 20 years, I talked to the postmaster on several occasions, I posted reviews on another site, and people like me have been posting bad reviews but the postmaster cares about getting his paycheck. They no longer advertise on their website for open positions and hire people in between their friends and relatives, if there is an issue and complaint against them the supervisor backs up her employee.
I officially complained to them to their downtown Atlanta corporate office and they sent my complaint to the same manager as I had spoken and would not help in Lawrenceville to help me, just a JOKE.
I went to the post office yesterday August 1st, there were 10 people ahead of me and one teller working. I asked her to speak to the postmaster, her name is Pat, She asked me the reason, I told her about having 1 teller and too many people waiting in line. She said, She would not ask post master to come and talk to me, I said I was a paying customer and had every right to ask him to come and talk to me, She said that She was not going to serve me because I was complaining, yesssss, this was her respond, I was shocked, her supervisor Catherine-or Katherine came to the front, and I told her what Pat was said to me, Katherine's respond was more shocking, She said yes She has right not to serve me, just because I complain. When I responded to her that I was going to downtown Atlanta and filing a complaint, she changed it and helped me mail my box.
POSTMASTER gets things straightened out otherwise someone will file a lawsuit against them, their employee's behavior, and the supervisor's not handling the issues properly, or handling them poorly.

If I could give it less than one I would.
Unhelpful.
Driver marked my package as delivered then got mad it was too big for a locker and then took it. Got in touch with a supervisor who told me I could pick it up at the office now nobody can find it.
Incompetent is the nicest word I have.

We went to process the passport for our daughters and the lady who is in charge of the passport service is a great person, very kind and guided us throughout the process. I hope she continues to work there for a long time.

Latonya Mesquita was very nice and helping when I was trying to fix and repackage the packages i messed up. I ended up staying 20 minutes until after closing and she checked on me to help me with whatever i needed and told me what i needed to do to send my packages all while being polite and helpful. No idea why this place has 1 star
5/5 stars

I was standing in line to mail my passport renewal and I overheard Belinda speaking to another gentleman about the requirements. I immediately panicked because I knew I had broken one of the rules to follow. I approached her and she generously gave me her time even though I did not have an appointment. She made sure my check was written correctly (she got me a sharpie to rewrite over my pink pen because checks have to be written in black). She also redid my photo that I had paid to get done at Walgreens because it was too small and she had a feeling upon seeing it that it was going to get returned. She took several photos to make sure I was happy with the new photo. She also gave me a new application because I had signed mine in pink and it had to be signed in Black. She double triple-checked everything and got me the right mailing envelope. This was all an accidental, wonderful coincidence that probably saved me a whole lot of heartache when they rejected my original passport and form for a too small picture and me signing my name in pink pen even though I had filled out the application online and printed it out.

Belinda was very friendly while I was doing my passport application. I wasn’t even supposed to come in as I read my appointment date wrong. But she still took my request anyways. Great customer service!

Tons of bad reviews here but I must say, Trina did an EXCELLENT job helping me out today! She was quick, informed, and extremely helpful. Her attitude was great and she was really nice. Never thought I’d say going to the post office was a wonderful experience but thanks to her, it was!

The workers have all been helpful and friendly but they close early sometimes with no notice on the doors. I've been there at 4:45pm and they have already locked up when they say they close at 5pm. Their hours aren't listed on the front doors, but inside also. They do have a self kiosk to print stamps available at all times.

Saturday morning, 20 people in line, ONE postal employee taking their sweet time. I don’t know how this location continues to operate as it does but someone needs to get fired.
